On a cold snowy night, our cast all sits around the floor at Sara's house. All of them were busily writing there names on a small piece of paper. They sat in a circle, with a bowl in the middle. " Ok" Sara says " Is everyone ready?" She gets a chorus of answers "Yep!" "Ready!" "Wait a sec!" "Yes!" They passed the bowl around the circle, then when it reached Joe, he spoke out "So how are we doing this again?" " It's simple," explained Kai, " After we all put our name in the bowl, it gets mixed up, then we pass it around and draw a name. If we get our own, everyone puts their paper back in. Simple."

They passed the bowl around, but as soon as it got to Hayasaka, he sighed , "I got my own." Everyone laughed as they passed the bowl around and put their names back in. They passed it around again, and Hayasaka exclaimed " How do I keep getting me?!" Some laughed, but the more eager ones sighed and told everyone to hurry up. Once more, they passed it around, and as Hayasaka grabbed the bowl, everyone held their breath. As he grabbed a slip, Shin said, half questioning, " 3rd times a charm, right?" Hayasaka passed the bowl to Joe, and everyone took a breath. As they went around the circle, some people had a look of disappointment, but some had more happy faces.

" Yayy! I got--!" Mai said before Q-Taro quickly clamped a hand over her mouth. The two of them were certainly the closest (besides Sara and Joe), and had become close friends since the Death Game. A few people smirked, as they knew Q-taro had a thing for Mai, but she had not caught on that he had a major crush on her. Mai passed the bowl to him, and when he looked at his paper, he had a look of undeniable happiness. They then finished passing around the bowl, with more mixed expressions from the remaining people. " Okay, so the rules for the gift exchange are, the gifts can not be more than 10 dollars, you can not reveal who you gave an gift to until the entire exchange is over, the item can not be more that 15 pounds, and try to make it so they can't guess who gave it to them." Stated Keiji, " Am I missing anything?"

She was about to ask why it was open, seeing as it was December, but before she could, she heard a deep voice say " Hey Joe, can I talk to you 'bout something?" A higher pitched, male voice responded with " Of course man, whaddya need?" Mai looks up at the window, trying to find out who the voice belongs to, when she hears the deeper male voice say " I gots a problem, Joe." "Joe?, Mai whispered to herself, Who is he talking to?'' She heard Joe say, " Ay man, I can guess what it's about. Is it about your feelings for Mai?" "Me? she thought, Someone has feelings for me?" While she was thinking, the two outside the window continued talking "Whatzat? How did you know 'bout that?!" Joe responded to the deeper voice, who Mai was slowly starting to recognize, with " Sorry man, but I think everyone 'cept Mai herself." Well, I know now she sarcastically thought to herself.
