IF YOU HAVE NOT READ ALL THE KOTLC BOOKS DON'T GO FURTHER

Hello! This is my imagination of how Sokeefe will play out. This first part is the conversation I imagine Keefe and Sophie having about their first kiss. (This is in a world if they didn't have to deal with the Neverseen and can just be normal teenagers.)

*All these characters belong to Shannon Messenger*

Enjoy!

Sophie was sitting on her bed, peacefully listening to her Ipod when a movement at her door caught her eye. She took out her earbuds as looked up and saw a smirking boy.

"Sup Foster," Keefe said with a big smile on his face. She started to get up and walk over to him when she remembered: They hadn't talked about it yet. She took a step back as a blush appeared on her cheeks. "We have to talk about it, you know."

"I-I..." Sophie's voice failed her. She looked at her feet as her blush intensified.

Keefe slowly walked over to her side and saved her from answering. "How about this: we could talk about it or we could skip the talking..." He put one hand on Sophie's face and he slowly leaned closer.

Sophie let out a shaky breath and closed the space between them. When their lips met, everything else melted away. It was just the two of them. Sophie's knees buckled but before she could fall, Keefe caught her. She slowly pulled away from him. They made eye contact, but Sophie quickly looked away. "I always knew one day I would sweep you off your feet," Keefe teased. At this, Sophie tried and failed to suppress a smile.

"Keefe..." She started and took a breath to make sure her next words were the right ones. "If we're going to make this work, I think the best way is by taking it slow. I like you, I really do, I just don't think we need to rush."

"Yeah, you're right," Keefe responded as he pulled Sophie into a hug. "Is this alright?" Keefe whispered into her ear.

"This is perfect!" Sophie murmured back.

They stood like this for a little while, holding each other. Neither of them spoke, afraid to ruin the moment. Their hug ended when they heard a sudden knock on the door. They sprang as far apart as possible, both their faces tomato red.

"I'm so sorry to interrupt Miss Foster, but your parents need your help with Verdi outside. I'll leave you two to finish your conversation, but I would advise you to be quick." Sandor said with an amused smile on his face. He was gone as fast as he appeared.

Sophie started to walk towards the door as she said, "I guess I better go down and see what they need."

Keefe followed her out the door but before they left, he gently pulled Sophie to face him. "Just one more," he breathed as their lips met once more.

That's all for now! I hope you liked it! If you have any feedback please let me know! <3
