I stalked carefully through the trees, I could hear a fight going on in the distance. It sounded like it wasn't going well.

I nocked an exploding arrow in my bow and took in the scene before me.

There were four men fighting against a behemoth, which I recognized to be Deadeye. They weren't doing well against him, I took aim and fired the arrow into Deadeye's good eye.

It exploded, causing the beast to shriek with pain as it was now completely blind.

"Woah! What was that!" I heard the buff black-haired man say, swinging his greatsword to hit the beast's leg.

I started to make my way closer to the ground, firing a few flaming arrows here and there, but making sure I stayed hidden from view.

There was a man with glasses lying in the dirt face first, he was unconscious. There was a skinny black-haired kid crouched beside him.

The behemoth fell onto its side, rolling over, I realized, jumping from my hiding spot to yank the pair of unsuspecting men from being crushed. I heard the kid grunt as I threw him as well as the unconscious man.

I rolled into a crouched position, rising to my feet as I drew my daggers. I charged at Deadeye as he rose to his feet. I jumped onto his good tusk, running upwards to his head.

I grabbed onto his neck, swinging myself onto his back, and stabbed where his head and neck met. it may not have seemed like much, but I knew it would sever his spinal cord.

He fell and I jumped off of him, hitting the ground with a roll near a skinny blond boy.

"That was so cool!" I heard him exclaim. I guess that was one way to put it.

I walked over to the man with the glasses, the brawny man and the black-haired boy were crouched beside him, trying to wake him.

The blond kept following me, asking me questions that I did not answer. I moved to crouch beside the unconscious man to heal him, but the brawny one snatched the collar of my leather jacket.

"Who the hell are you?" he demanded, all but growling at me.

The blond tried to intervene, "Gladio, she saved Noct, and Ignis! I'm like fifty percent sure she's on our side," he tried.

Gladio merely spared him a glance, "Fifty percent ain't enough Prompto," his attention went back to me, "Now, tell me who the hell you are," his tone left no room for question.

I blinked, "Put me down and I will tell you," I told him plainly.

Gladio dropped me, I landed on my feet. I pulled back my hood, brushing my blonde bangs away from my face, "My name is Freya, and I suggest you let me heal your friend if you want to leave this forest by nightfall," I told him, putting a hand on my hip.

He begrudgingly let me pass, the black-haired kid, who I now recognized as Prince Noctis looked at me with gritted teeth.

I took a potion out of my pocket, wrapping Ignis' hand around it before clicking the button to activate the canister.

After a few moments, his eyes fluttered open, "Who are you?" he asked, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head.

"My name is Freya," I informed him, rising back to my feet. I watched Gladio offer Ignis a hand, I could tell that Gladio still did not trust me.
