Gabby lays on her favorite orange velvet chaise, all tucked in with cozy blankets while Harry, Parker, and Forest squeeze together on the nearby oversized armchair.

All of them are laughing together when Gabby coughs. She clears her throat, but that just triggers another cough. One after another, until she's struggling to take in a breath.

Parker quickly hands Forest over to Harry, "Take him to my room, I don't want him to get scared."

Harry quickly leaves the room muttering reassurances to a worried Forest.

Parker pours some warm water for Gabby and gently helps her sip from the mug. As the coughing subsides and Gabby catches her breath Parker gently wipes the blood and mucus away from her mouth.

"I always knew I'd have a sweet young boy taking care of me on my deathbed. I just didn't expect him to be my nephew, and this is definitely not a beachside villa in Tahiti."

Parker gently opens the door to her room intending to check on the two after the hours he spent taking care of Gabby. He peeks in and sees Harry laying beside a dosing Forest.

Harry looks up, stopping his quiet humming which causes a frown to appear on Forest's face. He sleepily looks over at Parker.

"Sorry, buddy didn't mean to wake you." Parker closes the door behind him before he climbs into bed on the other side of Harry so Forest is surrounded by both of them.

"Aunty be okay now?" Forest breathed out.

Parker flounders for a second, unsure what to say, "She's feeling a little better, but she still needs to see the doctor. You know they're doing the best they can to make Aunty feel better."

"Yeah." Forest mumbles his agreement,  "Harry, again please."

"You got it bud." He hums the opening chords of If I could fly before starting to sing for both of them to hear.

Parker just watches the little boy drift back to dreamland unaware that he himself was slowly falling so consumed with his thoughts. Harry sings on watching two of his favorite people upset that he can't do more for them.
