Anne frowns as Harry's stressed face appears on her phone. "Are you alright sweetheart?"
"I'm fine, I just called to ask if you still had that minestrone soup recipe you made the last time I visited. Gabby isn't doing well today and I thought some soup would be a good option for everyone"
"The vegan one?"
"Yeah, dairy has been added to the sensitivity list and we have some leftover pasta we need to use."
The phone dings. Harry reads it over muttering to himself and fluttering around picking out the ingredients needed. "Shit."
"What's wrong?"
Harry continues to stare at the fridge stressfully. "The soup calls for kale, but Forest won't touch the stuff. He calls it furry spinach."
"You can substitute another vegetable he will eat."
He hums thoughtfully, "That could work. We have some green beans Forest said he liked."
"Harry."
Harry freezes at his mother's tone and faces her in the camera. He can see the concern in her eyes. He looks at himself, and takes in the messy hair he's raked his fingers through, and the bleeding corner of his lip he has been biting through. He looks stressed.
"I feel like I'm not doing enough and when I decide to make lunch I can't even do that on my own."
