rias' sudden outburst left (name) speechless.
the way he quickly switched like an actual switch just left the girl confused as hell.
it was still 10 more minutes until homeroom started, (name) decided to approach eveland about his.. friend. she figured rias wasn't aware of the tasks eveland gave her, including the hall monitoring.
either it was rias being completely unaware.. or did eveland simply forget about his own friend's role?
meh. beats (name). her third year school mates were weird enough, and the juniors were on different levels of weird.
she hurried off to her class without a minute to spare. when (name) entered the classroom it was filled with the minority of students. of course majority of them enter last minute or just late in general.
the students didn't bat an eye at her, which was a relief since she dislikes having many pairs of eyes on her.
at least.. being an outcast has its perks. (name) thought lifelessly. she was used to this kind of treatment, she was thankful for her now graduated seniors and the lower juniors.
from 2 seats away to the front, eveland was seen to be sitting down reading his notes. the class will have a discussion today so he was well prepared.
(name) then approached him while taking a peek at what he was reading.
"wow... not only is the whole lesson there, the writing is still understandable while the paper was the size of a notepad!...." she said in disbelief as she never thought it would be possible to do that.
eveland just let out a hum that sounded like a 'yeah'.
"its not really that hard. i could teach you if you want, if you don't mind though." he didn't need to look behind him as he knew it was (name) the moment her scent came flooding into his nose.
he finally looked up to see (name) looking right at him. they both held eye contact for a bit but was broken off when she looked down to his notes.
"about that list of.. chores you gave me, it seems there is already a hall monitor already. why would you ask me to monitor the halls for any damaged lockers?" her statement made eveland's eyes widen slightly.
