・*。★ ⌒- Pilot:

Fridays, for some reason, were always rather lazy. Customers would idly walk in and lull back out again, meaning that no more than 5 people were there at a time. Denji stood at the counter, awaiting anyone's order yet none came. His head rested in his hand as he zoned out, thoughts filled with more exciting events and pleasant daydreams. He was snapped out of his haze as he heard the bell ring, signalling a customer's entrance. Kobeni entered the cafe, her dark hair tucked away into a white beanie, her nose and cheeks stained red from the stinging cold weather outside.

"oh, hey Kobeni," Denji sat up, ready to take her order, "Wanna order somethin'?" He rolled up the sleeves of his loose sweater, a stick and poke Power gave him being visible on his forearm. The girl nodded at him.

"I'll get two matcha lattes; one iced please," She gave a small smile as she tucked a loose, inky strand back into her cat-eared hat.

"An iced one? It's real cold out y'know?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"Ah, my friend like all her coffees iced, no matter what season," She sighed, "No clue why though." He nodded and noted her order before putting the cash in the register and turning around to start making the drinks. He heard the door's bell ring, to which he assumed was the friend that Kobeni seemed to be talking about.

He placed them on trays and walked out, glancing around the place to find the table Kobeni was sitting at. He noted, upon setting down the tray, that the friend that she had brought was probably, no, definitely, the most gorgeous girl he'd set eyes upon. You looked... almost unreal. You were equally bundled up in a hat and scarf while nonchalantly talking with the dark-haired girl who sat in front of you. Bronze jewel-like eyes dazzled and lit up as you smiled and laughed.  Your skin was soft and dewy and held a melanated shade, all of which complimented everything about you. Headphones hung around your neck which had been adorned in a variety of necklaces.

You noticed him and smiled, "Thank you!" You beamed, flashing another smile before taking your drinks and returning to your conversation, laughing softly at whatever it had been that you two had been conversing about.

Denji muttered a quick 'no problem' and walked back to the counter, hands shoved in his pocket. He walked to the back, looking around for Power, his pink-haired, fiendish friend. "Yo, Powy?" He found her gulping down the vanilla and caramel pumps with Nyako. "Hey! Ya can't do that! Old man Kishibe's gonna get real mad," She stopped scarfing down whatever sweets she could get her hands on and deadpanned as she got up.

"Ugh, you can't tell me what to do," She crossed her arms and mean-mugged him, nonetheless, she dropped them out of fear of the old manager. She slightly shuddered at the thought of his punishments.

"Agh, shut up," Denji sighed at her childish behaviour, "By the way, d'ya know who Kobeni's friend is?"

Power scrunched her face up in thought. "Who?" She picked up Nyako, swooping the cat into her arms, "Why would I know?"

"Nevermind..." He trailed off at that part, his hand rubbing at the back of his neck.

You glanced over at the cash register, taking note of the cute boy who stood there. Ash-blonde tendrils fell over his forehead, he wore a light grey sweater, the sleeves being rolled up. He had a silver bracelet hanging loosely on his wrist and you watched as he greeted a customer, smiling as he did so showing his rather sharp canines. A small smile curled on your lips as you watched his cute little tendencies. "Hey, Koko? You wanna eat somethin'?" You looked over at the girl as she looked up from her phone.

She placed a finger on her chin in thought, "I guess something small couldn't hurt," She flashed a small smile as you got up to buy a small dessert. You smiled at the blonde,

"Hi," Your plush lips curled into a smile showing warmth, lip gloss making them shine even in the semi-dim cafè light.

"H-Hey," Denji was caught off guard by your sudden appearance at the counter. "D'ya wanna order somethin'?"  You nodded and he got ready to note down your order.

"I'll take 2 cinnamon creme muffins, please and thank you," You pointed out the desserts at the small window next to the counter. "That'll be all," You watched as he brought out two plates and placed them down, complete with two napkins wrapped in an adorable fashion. You slid him a note to pay, "Keep the change," You walked off with the plates and sat down once again.

As Denji was putting the money in the register, he caught sight of a small note along with it.

'Ur really cute ♥'
