・*。★ ⌒⁰⁴- "Ride Home..."

After a few matches of you absolutely demolishing Denji in 8pool, a pair of headlights shone through the windows signifying his ride had arrived. "It's still raining outside, if you like I can ask my brother to drop you off at your place?" You'd texted Yoshida previously asking to be picked up, but he left you on 'read'. You smiled and nodded at the boy, your heart slightly warming at the boy's sincerity.

"I'd like that, thanks." He held the door open for you as you stepped out under the canopy, shuddering slightly at the drop in temperature. He locked the door behind him and led you to the car once he was done.

He opened the car door for you allowing you to step in before closing the door and going through the other end. "Hey, Aki, I hope it's cool if we drop my friend at her house," He leaned forward a little to talk to the taller man. "It's cold and dark out."

"I hope I'm not intruding," You bashfully spoke up. "If it's too much trouble, you can just drop me off at the bus stop." You leaned to the side a bit to get a glance at the man. "Professor?!"

A quick 'hm?' left his mouth as he turned to look at you. "Ah, Y/n," He smiled once he realised it was you. "What a lovely surprise."

"You know 'im?" Denji motioned his head towards his elder.

"He's my criminology teacher, I was gonna mention somethin' in the cafè when you told me your last name." You let out an internal sigh of relief once you realised that the car ride wasn't going to be too awkward, you were still a little weirded out by being in your teacher's car though.

"What's your postcode, Y/n?"

"Oh- Um it's xxx-xxx" Your attention was quickly diverted from the, most likely one-sided, awkwardness to Denji. He held out an earphone in your direction, motioning for you to take it.

"Wanna watch stuff with me?" You shuffled closer as you took the earphone.

"Sure, what we watching?"

"I was gonna watch some CoryxKenshin," His cheeks flushed red as you sat practically snuggled up next to him. "I think he's funny."

"Yo, me too!" You grinned as you looked up at him. "I never thought we'd have stuff in common," Aki let out a small chuckle at the last part. "Not in a mean way, sir!" You defended before Denji could even catch up with what was going on.

"Ah, just turn on a video already."He grumbled as he caught Aki's Cheshire grin in the dash, shooting back a glare in return.

After two or so videos mixed in with a bit of catching up with the two brothers, Aki finally arrived at the front of your house. "Damn!" Denji exclaimed upon setting sight upon your home. "So you one of them rich folk, huh?" He gazed at your humble abode in awe as you stepped out of the car.

"You can come over once in a while if you like," You winked at him before saying a quick thank you to Aki and rushing inside, more than excited to tell Kobeni about everything.

"Koko!" You screamed as you kicked off your shoes. "You'll never guess what!"

Both you and Kobeni sat in front of one another in Kobeni's room. The LED's in her room shone a pale blue, illuminating everything from the CDs hanging on her wall to the posters and tapestry that decorated her ceilings. Your brown and white bonnet, accompanied by the matching silk pyjama set, assured you were comfy. The two of you sat with facemasks on your face as you talked and mostly squealed, about the other's object of attraction. "And then he goes, 'you've got something on your face Ni,' and then he did that thing in the movies where they wipe it off but then hold your face for a bit afterwards" Kobeni squealed into the crocheted Miffy plush that resided on her bed. "That's not even the best part!"

"It keeps going?!" You exclaimed, invested in her cheesy rom-com of a love life.

"He did the thumb thing!"

"The thumb thing?"

"The thumb thing!" She scooted closer to give you an example. "Like look, lend me your face." Her small, bony hands lay on your cheek, the thumb caressing it. "That thing!"

"Girl if you don't marry that boy, I swear to god-"

"Ok enough about me, what about you N/n?"

"Ok, Ok so-," You sat back slightly hands clasped together as you grinned. "You guys left me alone know the cafè, and after a while of my studying- and maybe a bit of daydreaming- I get tapped on the shoulder by Denji."

"What, did he ask for your number?"

"Vice versa, but we're getting to that," You admitted. "So he tells me, 'Sorry Y/n, the shops gotta close' and I go, 'my fault, I'll get outta your hair soon' and then he goes 'Nah it's coo shawty, my older bro's gonna pick me up anyways'"

"Did he actually say it like that?" Kobeni snickered at the thought of Denji's probably pathetic attempts to rizz a girl up.

"Ugh, I wish, but I offered to stay with him until he got picked up since it was really cold and dark outside," The rain never did stop since the cafè, instead it just started beating down much harder, the soft bullets that showered down made a calming patter at the windows. "That's when we exchanged phone numbers, we were just playing 8pool though. Anyways, speaking of his brother, he's the younger brother of my professor!"

"Professor Hayakawa?"

"Yeah, and I didn't properly deep it until I was offered a ride here!" Kobeni held a hand to her mouth.

"We need to tell Vivi!" The both of you scrambled for either of your cell phones, Kobeni got to hers first and dialled your dear friend on facetime."Vivian!" You both screamed into the phone, causing the unsuspecting girl on the other line to scrunch her face up in visible confusion.

"Nigga what?! What?!" She sat slouched on her couch, her hair tangled in large purple hair curlers and she wore a white, lacy tank top with the strap slowly sliding off of her tanned shoulder. "Disturbing my night and everything..." She angrily mumbled the last part, angrily stuffing a handful off crisps into her mouth.

"Y/n and Denji are linking." Kobeni smiled into the camera, as Vivian choked on her food, coughing and spluttering as she did so.

"On god?!"

"Kobeni!" You huffed nudging her playfully before rolling your eyes. "We're not linking, he and his brother just dropped me off at home."

"Damn, I don't think I'm ready to be an auntie N/n."

"We aren't fuckin'!"
