・*。★ ⌒⁰¹- "Coffee and morning vibes..."

Your phone started ringing on the toilet counter, interrupting your morning routine. You gingerly picked it up as you groggily went down the stairs, to make yourself a cup of coffee. "Wassup Yoshida?" You were sure you could sense his familiar complacent smile creep up on his face.

"Good morning Y/n," Yoshida was one of your good friends, as well as him being in the same biology class as you. He was the tall, brooding type, sable tresses practically covering his deep, inky eyes. You'd been familiar with him for ages since you were kids in fact thanks to both of your mothers not being that fond of one another. "Just making sure that you're awake this time,"

"Fuck is that supposed to mean, nigga?" You scoffed as he let out a raspy laugh on the other line.

"Chill, I was just kidding," he sighed, "But I am picking you up right now," You yawned as you looked at the time.

"Damn, early as fuck," You heard Yoshida's car pull up. You peeked through your kitchen window to see the familiar Rolls Royce pull into the driveway of your and Kobeni's shared home. The girl had decided to sleep over at her boyfriend's home, leaving you alone in the house. The black, sleek coat of the vehicle shone in the morning light. "I fucking hate rich boys," You sighed as you adjusted the bonnet that lay on your head and went to open the door for him.

"You look ghastly," Yoshida stated bluntly once you opened the door for him. He wasn't completely wrong, you were hot even when you had just woken up, however, sleep still lay evident on your face and your eyelashes were dewy from yawning.

"Bitch, who the fuck do you think you're referring to?" You resisted the temptation to kick your slippers at him as you waltzed upstairs. "I'm gonna shower and change. Don't fuck anything up, loser," You shouted from the top of the stairs before disappearing up them.

Once finished with your shower and skincare, you stood in front of your closet contemplating what outfit you should wear for the day. It was still fairly cold outside but you wanted to wear something classy. You whipped out a turtle neck accompanied by a sweater vest, tights and a skirt complemented it by a scarf to bring the look together. You did a little twirl in front of the mirror before shoving your laptop and notebooks into your tote bag.

Today wasn't a makeup day, you thought. You looked great without it, so you added a bit of highlighter before putting on your glasses complimented by your all-time favourite lipgloss and finally went downstairs to meet Yoshida. You found the tall boy standing at the stove making a meal. "Watchu makin'?" You peeked over his shoulder and you had to admit, it smelled really good.

"French toast," He smiled at your the way you would sneak glances at the mouthwatering plates of food he was making, topped off with all your favourite fruits and toppings. The entire kitchen now had a warm, homely scent to it, the aroma slowly seeping out to the rest of the house, and hell, you weren't complaining. Yoshida, as customary, never ate breakfast before coming to your house as he always found you to never have eaten by the time he'd arrived so breakfast was always a shared experience between you two, as well as Kobeni (occasionally). You cleared the kitchen table of the piles of textbooks and materials that you had been studying the night before and set down plates and two mugs of tea. Yoshida presented you with the fluffiest, softest pieces of bread that you'd ever laid eyes on. Each stack was topped off with a square of quickly melting butter, syrup and a pinch of powdered sugar to go with.

"You really outdid yourself this time, Yoshida," You gazed at the food lovingly, clearly ready to start eating. You said your prayers and cut off a piece and ate it.
