Jade.

A little later today me and Chris will be heading to the airport for my moms birthday surprise that I have in store for her this week.

Her birthday is in a couple of days and I'm coming a little earlier to see her but I don't think it will be a problem.

But for now, me and Chris were just enjoying ourselves to movies in bed, he was smoking, I was eating popcorn and we were just overall cuddling before we had to get going later this afternoon.

I'm so glad we're on much better terms than before.

I missed my baby.

I, even made us official on Instagram not that long ago and surprisingly received a lot of love. Granted, there was hateful comments, rude remarks but the positive overweighted the negative.

I posted the pic' of us kissing during the photoshoot. But of course, I wouldn't dare post the other exclusive photos from that night.

Those can be my little keepsakes of memories.

While holding me close as Chris snuggled in the crook of my neck, he was giving me small kisses, "Stop" I whine with a blush, "That tickles"

"So...you ready for tonight?" He asks.

"What time will we make it?" I ask.

"Well it's a 5-hour flight, and we gotta be down at the airport by 3:30, so we'll more likely get there after 8" I then frowned a little, Chris takes notices as his face then shows a sign of worry, "What's wrong baby?"

"I told you're hard headed self that you should've booked the flight for an earlier time baby. I wanted to see my mom today" I explained, "But no, you said and I quote, 'we gon' get there early enough baby, don't worry about it'" I say while mocking him.

The blank expression on Chris's face caused me to laugh loudly, "I don't even talk like that" Still laughing, I add, "Yes you do!" I argue.

"Baby trust me when I say we'll get there. And I couldn't book no earlier flight cause' there was none available . But aside from that, I think there's another reason as to why you acting like this. I know for a fact it can't just be over no silly flight schedule" Chris says. I smack my lips, pouting, looking in another direction. Chris chuckles at my response.

"You're such a big baby" I then snatch my head in his direction, "Am not!"

"Whatever, tell me this, did you tell you're mother that you're inviting your father to the dinner on her birthday night?" I then bit my lip in shame, looking away.

And judging by the looks spread on Chris's face, I'm already assuming that I know how he's looking right about now, "Baby" He calls out.

I then quickly confessed, "I haven't told my mother nor did I call my dad just yet....don't make me feel bad"

Chris then chuckles in disbelief, "Jade? Are you serious? I know you can't be serious right now...you gotta be joking. Tsk, you talking about me being hard headed, you didn't even set up a reservation for dinner"

"Did too!" I whined, "I just didn't put my dad on the list...yet"

I know my surprise isn't even fully planned but the last time I spoke to my father was when he bombarded me at my bakery job I worked at in NC. And that conversation didn't turn out pretty.

And to make matters worse, I didn't even tell my mother yet that both Chris and my dad might be showing up.

Lord, please let me survive this week drama free, and let all the limbs of body need no external attachments.
