I led the fellowship through the countryside. We stopped for a minute. Aragorn put his ear to the ground. "Their pace has quickened." Aragorn stated. I motioned the group to keep going. I ran until I found a leaf of Lorien.

"Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall. They are less than a day ahead of us." Aragorn added.

"Legolas, what do your elf eyes see?" I asked.

"The Uruks are heading to Isengard. They're taking them to Saruman." Legolas answered.

"We must hurry." I mumbled.

We ran for a bit. I saw horse men riding past us. Aragorn ran out of hiding and called for them. I ran to his side followed by the rest of the fellowship. The horse men surrounded us. Aragorn placed his arm around my waist protectively. I removed his arm. The leader came out in front.

"What business does a man, four dwarves, two elves, and two fairies have in riddlemark?" He questioned us.

"I am Anoramír queen of the faires. This is my second in command Merlina. The human is Aragorn son of Arathorn. The elves are Legolas and Thranduil of Mirkwood. The dwarves are Fili, Kili, Thorin, and Gimli of Erebor. We are friends of Theoden your king." I replied.

"Theoden recognizes neither friend nor foe. Not even his own kin." The leader sighed removing his helmet.

"I am sorry. We are looking for our friends. They were captured by Uruk-Hai. Have you seen them?" I asked.

"We killed the Uruks. You are welcome to look for them. Hasul, Arod, Mist, and Busolf, may they bring you better fortune then their masters." The man sighed.

"I will fly." Merlina said.

"I will ride with Aragorn. Fili and Kili, Thranduil and Thorin, and Legolas and Gimli will ride together." I said.

Aragorn climbed on Arod. I got on after him. We rode to the smoke. I examined the area. I found one of their belts. Tears rolled down my face. Aragorn kicked a helmet. "Wait a minute. I found something. One hobbit laid here another here." Aragorn said.

"Are they even alive?" I asked.

"I don't know if they still are. All I know is something chased them into the fangorn forest." Aragorn stated.

"What madness drove them there?" Gimli asked.

"I don't know." Aragorn admitted.
