" NAOMI" ........ " Wake up"
With a deep groan i rolled out of my comfortable king size bed and made my way to my en-suit. After finishing my business, i went for my walk-in closet to grab somethiing to wear for my first day.... at yet another school
"Naomi are you up?" Mom asked from shouted through the house
"Yes Mom. I'll be down in a minute" I called back
I turned back to my clothes and decided on a pair of DKNY ripped jean shorts, a pink and black Ed Hardy polo and matching Ed Hardy flats. I put them on, walked out of my closet and over to my dresser to straighten my hair and put on a bit of mascara.
Finishing off, i grabbed my shoulder bag and Abercrombie & Fitch cardigan and headed downstairs towards my Mom's office.
"Come in" she said after i knocked
"Hey Mom" I said, making my way over to the couch situated in front of her massive mahogany desk, which by the way is currently covered with material bits and sketches of her designs
"Morning hun. Did you sleep well?" she asked without looking up from the sketch she is working on
"Uh-huh. Did you sleep last night? you have bags under your eyes" I said
"Yes, for a couple of hours. I had to wake up early to continue work on this seasons Vintage Collection that is due in 5 weeks"
"Cool, i think it looks good so far.......okay gotta go, bye" I said quickly, standing up and rushing towards the door, hoping she forgot about the fact that today is my first day at school
"You better stop right there" she said slowly, which meant she didn't forget
"Yes Mum" I said innocently
"Coget your ass back over here"
I wanted to play my cards safe, so i obeyed and did as she said
"I think you know what day it is today, right?" she asked raising an eyebrow
"Mom I know what you're going to say already and I'm going to try and not screw it up this time"
"Really? I remember you saying this the for your previous school, for your three previous schools to be exact" She stated calmly. But I could see the anger and dissapointment in her eyes
"Mum, you don't unders-"
"I don't want to hear it Naomi" She cut me off " The first time you got kicked out of school for sneaking into the principal's office and hacking into the schools computer system, for a dare. At your second school you got expelled for hotwiring the vice principal's car and taking it for a joy ride round town with your friends" she stopped talking to calm down "And at your last school, which by the way wasn't an ordinary school, NO, it was one for juvenile delinquents in Europe, you got isolated first, for being caught in the teachers bathroom having an intensive make out with with some delinquint AND AFTER you got kicked out for blowing up the chemistry lab.... because you thought it would be fun"
"But-"
"Shut your trap girl. You being kicked out of schools is going to affect my career at some point if it dosen't stop and you do realise its not getting you a better reputation"
"Mom, i'm really sorry" was all I could say
My Mom sighed and rubbed her temples and began speaking "This is your last chance Naomi" I just nodded along "If you mess this up again I have no choice but to take away your Porsche and Honda and send you to an all girls boarding school in Canada" she said with a stern tone which meant business
By the time everything processed through my mind, my jaw dropped while I stared at my mother
It was my Iphone vibrating that snapped me out of my daze. I switched it off and turned back to my Mum
"M-Mom.....you don't.....you can't"
"You wanna try me?"
"But Mom I could never make it without my babies, let alone through an all girls boarding school"
"Naomi don't disappoint me again and it won't get to that" she said
"I'll try my best Mum" I sighed
"Now if you don't mind i'd like to get back to work" she said, putting her glasses on "And you're going to be late, on your first day, if you don't hurry"
With that I stood up and left the office
