sorry i changed the request a lil bit, but i hope you like it mate

And despite it all, Jinki had to say that he lived a pretty good life. He was thankful that he could pursue his passions in an environment where the majority of people cared about him. Sure, they were some people who got nasty. There was a small group of trainees that had been bothering him for a while, but he tried to block his thoughts about it. But it was okay. He had plenty of good people around him.

He was thinking about this very fact as he sauntered in through the studio doors, a forced grin on his face.

"It's just past seven in the morning, why the hell are you so cheerful?" Kibum asked. He was right behind him. The usual bite in his words wasn't there though. He sounded... relieved almost.

"What's there not to be cheerful about?" Jinki asked. He carefully set his bag on the floor before crouching down to take some things out.

"I will never understand you." Kibum pushed past him to go stand in front of the small mirror that hung near one of the doors to the recording studio.

Jinki snorted. "You don't have to. Nobody asked you to."

"Ugh."

Chucklimg, Jinki headed towards the couch and sank down into it. Today seemed like it was going to be an easy day. Just learning the chords for a couple of new songs and they would be free. Jinki was looking forward to going home and watching a new drama series. Maybe he would be able to drag Taemin into it too. Taemin always made a very entertaining show-watching partner.

Usually, he would be willing to stay at the studio and work on some other songs. But these days, he just wasn't feeling it. Drained, perhaps.

"Do you have plans tonight, hyung?"

"Huh?" Jinki glanced up at Kibum. "Not really, I guess."

"I was wondering if you could help me clean out my studio."

"Absolutely not."

"Please?" Kibum asked. "I thought that-"

"Ask Minho," Jinki said.

Kibum made a face. "No."

"Jonghyun loves cleaning, ask him."

"Are you kidding?"

Jinki shook his head. "I don't want to."

He swore, he heard Kibum deflate like a soggy balloon. His unhappiness was contagious.

"Okay fine, how long will it take?" he relented.

"Around three hours."

"Are you serious?" Jinki asked. "Three whole hours of cleaning?"

Kibum shrugged. "If we do it slowly, it can take six hours. It's a rough estimate."

"Minho is very athletic, he can get it done faster."

"Oh no, no," Kibum said. "He would get it done faster, sure. But then I would be subjected to four hours of lecturing. I once... never mind."

"What?"

There was a small smile playing on Kibum's face. "I'll tell you if you agree to help me out."

"I don't like the sound of this."

Kibum shrugged.

Finally, Jinki decided to kiss his drama plan goodbye. "Fine."

Kibum raised his eyebrow. "You never say no. I love that."
