Amias groggily opens his eyes, sitting up carefully and running his hands through his hair. He glances down to a sleeping Mazarine, his thoughts all about last night, but they then shift to today. He's leaving. His eyes fill with tears looking at his girl sleep peacefully beside  him, not knowing what's about to happen.

Amias blinks away his tears and gets up to get dressed and grab the rest of his things from his room and bathroom. He quietly opens the door, closing it behind him. He turns around and suddenly stops himself from bumping into Noah.

"Is she awake?"

He asks in a groggily and quiet voice. Noah and the rest of the family were sad to leave Mazarine, and in such conditions. They all love her. She treated them like they had always been family from the start.

"Yeah. She won't be awake for atleast two more hours."

Amias responds just as quietly if not quieter.

Amias brushes past Noah and walks into his room across from Mazarine's. Amias felt dizzy with emotions. He knows he has to leave, he can't let Mazarine get hurt, especially because of him. But the pain he's feeling to not be by her side, to know she won't be with him, to know she'll find someone else, someone better. To start a family with someone else, someone to love and care for her. It won't be him. It won't ever be him.

Amias quickly cleans up his room, stuffing his necessities in a black duffel bag before getting dressed in a black suit. Amias over looks the room, making sure he has everything before leaving. He walks over to Mazarine's room and quietly walks in. Looking at Mazarine's sleeping form sprawled out on the bed.

Amias walks over to her, letting his bag carefully drop to the floor. He leans down, pressing his lips to her forehead and closing his eyes. He takes in deep breath, inhaling her sent one last time. He pulls back, taking in each of her features. Amias feels the tears slip down his face as they start to pool out of his eyes.

"I love you, Mazarine. With all my heart. Forever."

Amias whispers.

He then pulls away completely, grabbing his bag and leaving the room. He wipes his tears, taking a deep breath before entering the front foyer. All his family waiting there for him. His mother and father with sympathetic smiles on their lips, lily and Jay holding their two tired and crying girls.

Noah standing there, smiles to Amias warmly. Amias weakly smiles back and leaves the castle, his family following after him.

Mazarine groans, stretching her limbs out. She rubs her eyes and feels around the bed but Amias isn't there. Mazarine opens her eyes to see the room empty of any human besides her. She pushes the sheets off and throws on Amias' hoodie and jogging pants on before she leaves the room to look for Amias.

The castle is oddly quiet considering the dining rooms close to their rooms. The first place Mazarine looks is in Amias' room, and then his office. She looks around the halls for anyone, even a maid, but no one. She makes it to the dining room, and to her suprise no one's in there. She looks in the library, then the twins room, then the twins play room, and then Mazarine makes a trip to the flower garden.

Mazarine, with her anxiety raising, walks back into the castle. She looks around the very empty and bare rooms. She renters Amias' room, hoping that maybe he was just in the bathroom and she didn't notice. But still, no one's there. Mazarine feels tears of worry form in her eyes as she makes her way back to her room. She sits on the edge of her bed and her eyes wander around the room before she finds a note on her night stand.

Mazarine grabs the note, eager to see what's inside.

Mazarine,
My family and I are moving to another place for business and won't be back for a while. I wanted to tell you, but I didn't know how. I was worried that you had gotten too attached to me. I was never looking for a real relationship and just wanted some fun. I let it go on for too long and I'm sorry for that. I never meant for it to go this far, but it was never real. I never loved you, I never liked you, I never actually cared. I just thought you were hot. None of it was real. I hope you can understand.
-Amias

Mazarine's eyes immediately fill with tears that pour down her face. Her lip quivers and her eyes blur to the brim with uncontrollable tears. Mazarine's heart breaks as she reads the letter over and over again. None of it was real. He never really cared. After all they had been through, after all that Mazarine had confessed and told him about her past. He never actually cared.

Mazarine let's out a sob that leads to many other loud sobs. Mazarine breaks down on her bed. The thoughts of last night fall into her mind, and the ones where Amias had listened, and the ones where Amias had cared, and the ones where Amias had treated her like she was his everything, and the ones where Amias had said 'I love you, Mazarine. With all my heart'.

Mazarine wraps her arms around herself, crying until her sobs became light screams, until her throat hurts and her eyes become stingy with tears that start to fade with numbness.

Love;
Something people say when they feel strongly about that person, like they'd do anything for them and they'd always be there. People don't think of love as a strong, powerful thing. They think of it as a passion and as if it's all cupcakes and rainbows.
Love is clean.

Love;
Love is something so powerful that it can take over people. Love is something so powerful that not even the strongest of people can fight it. Love is something people say when they feel strongly about a person, like they'd do anything for them and they'd always be there. Love is not a passion. Love is not cupcakes. Love is not rainbows. Love is not clean. Love is a catastrophe.
