school

i wakep up in the morning before litty. the sun isnt out yet. i ceck the clock. 5;06, school starts at 8:00.
i decide not to go back to bed and to just make us pancakes instead. yumyum. its so peaceful in all alone in the morning. i walk through the dark to get to the kitchen, since we fell asleep in the living room, it wasnt that far. i see somehting run in the corner of my eye. "WHAT THE FLIP" oh. its just my cat. i ignore it and continue getting my ingredients out. i pit the first pancake on the pan and go to pet my cat. i smell somehting burning. "HOLY SMOKES THE PANCKE" i go to flip it and it's completely burnt. its okay ill just give thT one to kitty. afyer i finish making the pancke i go to wak up kitty. "hey get up sleepy head we have school"
"i dont want to get up" she says. "but if you dont get up ypu wont get to see aiden at school" i say 🤭. "youre right 😔"

we eat our yummy pancakes and decide to watch some txt to do before school. "omg its 7:30 already we have to go" we get in the car and head out to school. we look at our schedules and see we have different first periods. i have math and she has history. we say our goodbyes and head to our classes. i have no friends other than kitty and no one really sits near me sonce they all have theri own friends. i sit alone.

the teacher starts to introduce herself intil someone walks in late. "hey sorry im late im new here" "thats okay you can just sit next to y/n over there" he sits next ti me.
"hey whats your name"
"niki"
"do you have any friends here yet?"
"no your the first person ove spoke to so far"
"do you eant to to help you to find your classes? then you wont have to be late anymore"
"yeha that would help"
he gives me his schedule to look at. omg. he has all the same classes as me. thats werid. we get throuh our first few classes and its finaly lunch time.
"hey niki do you want to eat lunch with me and my friend?"
"sure"

we go to the cafeteria togtehr and meet up wotht kitty.
"hey kitty this is niki!! hes new here"
"hey niki i hope you loek it here so far."
"thanks for making me feel welcome. i really thought i wasnt going to have any friends."
"ofc!! hey were going to to beach after school, do you want to join us?"
"yeah that sounds fun"
"alright, icant wait!!!"
