the last bell for school finally rang. i walk out of the crowded hallway to my car. the car seats burn my skin since its been sitting in the hot sun all day. i turn up the ac to cool off. i leave the school parking lot and drive down the busy road and into me and kitty's neighborhood. i stop at kittys house to drop her off. "bye kitty see you at the beach later!!" "bye y/n!!" i continue driving down the road until i get to my house.
i walk into my house and into the kitchen. it was hot out so i grab a cold soda from the fridge. i notice mom cleaned up the living room from last night, that was nice of her. i grab a bag of chips before going upstairs to my room. i take my homework out of my bag and sit down at my desk. since its the first day of school i really dont have much, so ill have time to finish it before i have to get kitty and niki to go to the beach.

me doing my homework. i notice its getting dark outside and check the clock. 6:00 pm. time for me to pick up kitty and niki. i really quickly change into this

and put a t shirt on. i grab my bag and car keys and call kitty to let her know im on my way. i arrive at her house and shes already waiting outside. "hey y/n!!!" "hi kitty!!" "hold on i have to call niki and ask where to pick him up." i call niki and he gives me directions to his house.
when we arrive at the beach its dark and windy. the wind makes it slightly cold. we grab our towels and snacks and place them on the sand before running straight into the water. the water is cold and dark. it's honestly a little creepy. after being in the water for a little we decide to sit on the sand and eat our snacks.

"its so pretty out" i say. "ikr, but its also a lottle scary being out here alone" says kitty. "yeah i cant even see anuhtjng, anyways do you guus want to build samdcatsles?" asks niki. "omg yes that sounds so fun" we wall over closer to the water and start crafting our castles. the sand is so hard to form into a blcok amd keeps collapsing. when i finally get it to stay a new wave come and knocks it over. "UGH I GOVE UP!!!" i yell. "no its oku ill help you" says niki" "oh okay thanks niki." wow hes so nice. he sits next to me and we build a sadncatsle together. "omg thanks niki it looks so cool" "hey guys its pretty late dont you think we should go home now?" says kitty. "yeah i agree, lets go to the car" i say.
