Third person's POV

The leaves of the trees look mesmerizing moving to the rhythm of the wind. The smell of soil is evident in the air after the morning shower. The dark clouds are still roaming in the sky waiting for a chance to hide the sunshine and rain again. Laughter can be heard more specifically children's laughter. The sounds of their parents either scolding them for painting their white shirts with dirt or parents talking with each other wondering whose child is the ideal child can also be heard. There is also another beautiful sight. A child with beautiful red hair and rosy cheeks is staring deeply at the trees looking peaceful but a hundred thoughts were going through her head. She wanted to play with the other kids too but something about nature more specifically the organisms, the plants and the animals drew her in. The way the little squirrels walked with pride after storing away their hard-earned food or the way the butterflies were flying around without a care about anything. The interactions between tiny bugs and the flowers. To her, the scene before her was better than any and every movie she ever watched.

Despite all these beautiful sceneries, there was danger lurking behind in the shadows. A pair of eyes were also witnessing everyone's movements. A four-legged beast with captivating yet vicious eyes was eyeing all the children except the beautiful redhead who was hidden from its view. The beast accidentally stumbled upon the part of the forest where people gathered. No adult or child noticed the rustling of leaves or the deadly stare from behind the bush except the red-haired beauty.

The rustling bought her attention to the bushes and she saw the hidden danger. The beast approached a kid that was next to it and slowly walked towards the kid in a predatory way. The girl with the red hair was also watching the predator, and she screamed on instinct. Both the kid and the beast were shaken. The beast scanned the crowd, looking for the source of the sound. And then it came face to face with the tiny little girl who was barely half its size. The little girl's hair was dancing because of the wind and her eyes which usually looked grey like the moon was golden now and there was a fire in those eyes.

The girl whispered no when the beast and the girl made eye contact. The girl also felt a connection with the beast. By now, everyone was looking at this strange interaction with both curiosity and fear on their faces. The beast slowly took a few steps towards the little girl, this increased the crowds' fear but the girl didn't even flinch, she was mesmerised by the beauty of the beast even though it had the ability to kill her in a heartbeat, she felt a sense of comfort from it so instead of running away, she started walking towards the beast. It stared at her for a few minutes almost in awe but in others' eyes, it looked like the calm before the storm. Hence, there was pin-drop silence and everyone held their breath. The beast then did something no one expected, it bowed towards her and retreated back into the forest where it came from. A child was able to control a beast thrice her size.

The crowd was absolutely astonished by this interaction between one of the deadliest predators on land and a girl who looked like she was barely ten years old. Suddenly, as if a switch was flipped on, everyone came back to their senses. The kids started crying and the parents started whispering and gossiping about the little girl.

A boy asked his mother, "Mom, I thought a person could only control one of the five elements (air, water, fire, wood and metal). How was she able to control a beast?". The mother looked more confused and on hearing this the whispers intensified. But despite all this, the little girl was unbothered and was again looking into the forest and had her hand held high almost as if saying hi to someone or asking something or someone to stop. Another curious boy searched for what she was looking at and what he saw only made him cry more.

A demon with blood-red eyes taller than a skyscraper was looking at the tiny girl. The tiny girl mouthed to the beat 'go home' and a few seconds later the beast bowed and retreated to the denser part of the forest. This time however the little girl's eyes were glowing red instead of golden. Once the demon was gone, her eyes turned back to grey and she played with the butterflies almost as if nothing happened. Why did people act so scared when the beast was coming, I don't get it. 'Moreover, even though he was kind of scary at first he was actually really nice', the girl thought to herself.

The people had absolutely no idea that the tiny child just saved their lives from a beast and a demon. They could also only remember fractions of their memories. All they remembered was the child but they didn't know why they were all thinking about her thus, they started making rumours about her.

Anonymous POV

A child with abilities to control a beast. Damn, this child is already dangerous. Moreover, no kid can unlock their powers until they turn sixteen. How was she able to do it so young? I need to warn Lucien of this potential threat. She is already dangerous despite being a child. No person has ever been able to do something so powerful in centuries. But before that, I need to wipe the humans' memories to make sure that word about her doesn't go out. If an enemy finds out about her, they will surely use her as a weapon. The kid has no idea how much power she has.

A/N Hiii thank you so much for reading my book. This books needs severe editing but I am really lazy so I will do it someday. And there might be a tiny bit of cliches but I guarantee the book has a happy ending. I am still a newbie in the case of writing so please excuse me if there are any mistakes.
