I was slightly surprised when Jessica's car stopped outside my house, the car drove with an obviously illegal speed.
"Thanks for hanging out with me, Jess." Brielle spoke, unbuckling her seatbelt.
"Are you...okay? What you did back there...I feel like I don't even know you." Jessica spoke, her eyebrows furrowed slightly.
Brielle paused, her body facing forward, she inhaled with a nod.
"Yeah, Jess. I'll see you monday?"
Jessica only nodded, giving the girl a slight grin before she drove off.
Brielle locked the front behind herself, jumping slightly when seeing Charlie standing there silently.
"Didn't mean to scare ya," Charlie chuckled lightly, Brielle let out a relieved breath.
"It's okay, Dad. I...I uh, had fun at the movies with Jess. The movie was stupid but I enjoyed getting out."
Charlie grinned lightly.
"I'm glad you finally had fun. Night, kiddo." Charlie spoke, kissing her forehead before jogging up the stairs.
"Night, Dad."

It was a crippling feeling, this sensation like a huge hole was punched right through my chest. It's like I felt every vain, every vital organ being ripped from my body, but rationally I knew I was completely healthy. The feeling was different from knowing, though. My whole body shook with silent sobs, hands gripping my pillow as if my life depended on it. I scrambled with my numbness, my denial, but it evaded me. I knew I could survive, but the pain that radiated from my chest told me otherwise.
And for the first time in my life, I couldn't imagine tomorrow.

Carmen.
I saw him.
Maybe I'm crazy now. I guess that's okay. If a rush of danger is what it takes to see him...then that's what I'll find.

Brielle drove down to The Black's, her shiny car pulling into the patch of grass and dirt, Jacob running out with a huge smile on his face.
" Brielle! WHeRe tHe hELl hAvE yOu BeEn, LoCa?!"
Jacob picked her up, his warm skin against her's in a tight bear hug causing her to chuckle.
"I came to see you...I thought a lot about what you said; the change wouldn't be so drastic if I saw you more. I just...missed you." Brielle spoke, his grin only got wider.
"Well, I'm glad you're here." Jacob spoke, pulling her into another hug, noticing a huge object in her backseat, "What is that?"
"Oh, it's a motorcycle...I saved it from the junkyard, it was the nicest I could find. Um, I was wondering...you know since we built stuff together when we were kids if..if you wanted to help me get it up and running again."
Brielle spoke nervously, her mannerisms reminded him of Bella, his grin faulted a bit, he nodded.
" Bri, I've missed you and I think this would be a good thing for...us." Jacob spoke, she tilted her head up at him with a smile.
" Really? Thank you...now help me get it out of my car, it was a pain to get in and I dout it'll be any easier getting it out." Brielle spoke, walking backwards towards the back car door with a smile on her face.
