Chapter 3

School was out and Alice had to wait.I couldn't even get to speak to her.I was quite angry as it was Friday evening and we had to go to a movie.It was all planned and I rarely did that.So I had to get her out.

I had been practising Ventriloquism.I had managed to learn it up a bit.It had taken years to do that.I always wanted to show off my skills and someone but I never had the chance.So I thought I would try it on Mr.Hill.I walked past close to the classroom and hid.I said'Sir,May I have a Cigarette...Please?'I was pretty impressed with myself...I mean I changed my voice and it appeared to come from the cupboard.Everyone was startled.I did that 3 times.Mr.Hill even looked in the cupboard and he found nothing.He just asked everyone to leave.I was so happy!

Alice came out and I showed up.She guessed it was me as I had expressed my desire of learning the act many times to her.She thanked me too.I told her I was excited but little did we know that we would miss the whole movie...
