Chapter 5

Mr.White,our physics professor called out to me when I was walking towards the principal's office.We just walked towards him leaving Elsie behind.He told me that three students and their English teacher from Park Street High School had just met the principal and invited us to the workshop.He told us that we could take part in pairs....but it would be held during spring break!Well,that was disappointing as Alice couldn't come with me as she had plans of visiting her grandparents and she would be out of town.I really wanted to go and I didn't want to ask anyone else to accompany  me as most of them would be travelling...and it was just wierd as Alice and me always did everything together.

I thought of dropping the plan and wanted to leave.I had no idea as to why  Elsie was still waiting at the end of the corridor instead of catching up with her people but she offered to be my partner.She asked me to register and told me to meet her at her school the following week.I was delighted and forgot to ask her any contact details.She said she would meet her friends outside as her professor would be angry for wandering off.
