Can someone please save me from this torture. Why oh why I joined these losers club. Calling it a club sounds a bit juvenile but then again what we do is nothing short of childish nature.
"How many years has it been now 2? And my baby is yet to be defeated by any of yours."
Gaston, which is not his real name btw but what he's called in our friend circle because of his higher than a Himalaya ego, was still going on and on about Jesse's gift. That sugar baby of his knows how to stroke his ego. A match made in heaven I would say.
After being dumped and deceived and cheated on by our respective partners the 6 of us decided to lead a single life without any headaches of lover or partners but then one day Rick decided that we can still enjoy sex and intimacy of a lover without any commitments.
It was a fool proof plan according to Tum and what Tum says Gaston follows but don't let him know that though, he thinks he's our leader and for our peace of mind we let him assume that.
Then 2 years ago Drew thought we need to spice up our mundane meetups. His genius idea was to compare the cost of the birthday gifts their bsbies would give them because that's the accurate parameter to judge how happy their girls are with them right? From that day onwards this is how their birthdays are being celebrated except mine.
I on the other hand was very much against the notion of wasting our hard earned money on strangers. Unlike these bunch of bollocks I do have some self respect and dignity. I pride myself in not giving into their peer pressure but at the cost of me having to hang out with them on their monthly rendezvous with their sugar babies.
"Haha Look at Gun's face."

I don't know why and how everytime I become the butt of their jokes when I didn't even utter a single word.
"Fuck off I'm leaving." I announced to no one in particular.
"Our resident virgin wants to go already."
"Let him leave Ren it's already way past his bed time." Rick's cheeky grin was getting on my nerves.
"I'm not a virgin you dimwit and fuck off once again."
"Don't tell me you're jealous, Gun."
"Jealous of what Drew?"
"Of me and Jesse of what we have." That bastard has no idea what he is spewing.
"Gun doesn't need to be jealous of you Gaston." Finally someone with working brain. "Thanks Tum-"
"He already have a sugar baby of his own."
9 heads turned my way with gaping mouth and enlarged eyes.
"You cheeky bastard."
"I wasn't expecting you to be this coy."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Dome's voice was laced with hurt as if he can't believe I betrayed him.
"I-I .."
"He wanted to take things slow that's why kept it a secret." My eyes were burning holes on that lying asshole's head but he didn't look my way. What the fuck this Tum is planning now.
"It's ok what's done is done let's meet your special someone next month on your birthday."
"Good idea."
"Awesome."
"I'm already too excited to meet Gun's choice."

"What the hell Tum why did you lie to them?" It was just the two of us left in our private lounge room.
"I'm sorry I don't know what came over me I was just trying to shut them up but I ended up creating a mess for you." I was about to open my mouth to curse him and his ancestors when he cut me off.
"But It's not a bad idea you do need to find someone how long are you going to stay alone.
"That's none of your business I've told you enough times that I don't want this lifestyle. It's way too fake and materialistic for my liking."
"I know and I'm sorry but please just this once do as I say or else drew won't let me live this one down."
Why am I friends with this guy, again?
"Even if I agree where will we find a sugar baby."
I don't like the shiny glint in his eyes at my question. "Don't worry Zoey knows a lot aspiring candidates. We will find you one soon."
