Chapter 6

Constant ringing of my phone woke me up. My head was pounding and the sharp sundays coming through the window was not making it hurt any less. I picked my phone front he bedside table to check the caller and I groaned loudly after seeing the time. I had an important meeting at 10 am and currently it's 9:30 giving me only 30 minutes to get ready and bolt for the office. Ignoring the dozens of calls and messages on my phone I got up to shower.
After popping 2 Aspirins and washing them down with water I hurried out to my car and started driving to my office.

I hasten my walk and literally ran to the conference room just to find it empty. Puzzled and confused I asked the receptionist about the meeting and she told me it was cancelled by my uncle and that he's waiting for me in his office with some guests. Puzzled and confused I made my way to his office after knocking twice I walked inside and closed the door behind me.

Uncle's expressions turned grave after seeing me. The two heads sitting infront of him turned around insync. One smiling and one giving me weird look.
"Gun meet Mr.Sangpotriat and Krist Perawat." Uncle's tone was rigid and I think now I know why.
Memories from last night flashed infront of my eyes after hearing the name Sangpotriat.
I could feel my soul leaving my body so embarrassing God I was so embarrassing, I wanna cry.
"Hey Gun how are you feeling now?" Krist walked up to me and asked in a soft concerned voice.
I could only smile weakly at him which I'm sure came out quite constipated given his expressions.
"Mr Sangpotriat meet my nephew Gunappat." Uncle tried to divert the attention from me by directing the attention towards me.
"Yes I have already met this young man Mr. Kluer and quiet a meeting that was." I felt my face heating up with utter shame. I didn't call this man old hag last night please tell me I didn't.

"I'm extremely sorry for the way he behaved yesterday." First time in my life my uncle has to apologise to someone because of me. He has apologized to many people for his own mess ups tho.
I wanna cry.

"Don't be like that Mr. Kluer my Grandson here told me everything. I'm just glad there's someone who loves my krist to the point of getting jealous of his own Grandpa." What did he just say?
G..Grand-son Grandson? What ...how...Grandson. my head was spinning my sugar level is dropping I can feel it dropping. I wanna cry

"Da please behave." Mr Grandson reprimanded his grandfather.

"I will behave but first you two sort out whatever lovers quarrel you guys are having." Lovers quarrel does he think we are lovers?
I was staring at krist to get anything out if him but he was looking at everywhere but me. I wanna cry.

"Gun I think we need to talk." He called me Gun. He called me. By my name. For the first time. When I'm not sleeping or drunk. Yet I couldn't rejoice given the circumstances we are in.

"Yeah yeah you two sort it out Mr. Kluer and I have some business matters to discuss." What business matters? I was hesitating to leave but Uncle gave me the look which clearly meant he want me out of his sight right away.

Never before had I found my office's lift this suffocating. Krist wasn't looking at me and the thousands of question swirling around my head was making me dizzy. He stepped outside of the lift and hurried towards the shiny silver car.
"Is this your car?" I asked him to which he replied nonchalantly "Yes it's mine."

"Why were you asking me to buy you one when you already had one?" He gave me his signature sheepish look. "I wanted black Bugatti noir this one is silver and you know how fast I get bored of the same colour after a year." No I did not know that.

"Where are we going?" He paused while putting his seat on. "Somewhere I can give answers to all of your questions. Don't worry I've already asked others to gather there."
