Summary: You're girlfriend decides to come back to the women's tennis scene to reclaim her record.

"Carrie...are you sure about this?" You asked carefully as your girlfriend picked up her tennis racket from the other side of the net.
"Yes, Y/n I'm sure. I can't let Nicki take my record you know that. I need that Grand Slam." Carrie responded and you nodded, not saying anything else. Because while she was very nice to you (nicer to you than she was to anyone else and even her father) she had a short fuse and will blow up if you said the wrong thing.
The relationship was a little toxic but you both loved each other very much. With a couple road blocks here and there.
When Carrie saw Nicki Chan take her record of the most Slams in women's tennis, she was furious. She was determined to come back and reclaim her record. Her throne. Even if the sports media had some nice things to say about her (sarcasm, one guy called her a bitch on live TV). But they don't know her like you do. She's sweet and caring to you and her father, cold hearted and ruthless to anyone else.
"You do know I'm not a tennis player, right?" You asked.
"Yes of course I do, Señorita. I need to practice with you until I can find someone else. Someone who's not Bowe Huntley. I can't stand that man I fucking hate him."
You nodded again and the two of you continued playing.
Maybe she'll win, maybe this'll all go to shit.
But one thing for sure is that,
Carrie Soto is back.
