Hey guys, Max here. If your wondering why I was gone for a while, it's because of my grades. I got two B's and my parents grounded me for a looong time, And while I was gone, more people voted in the ship vote. I want to thank Alby199800, Shadowlugia49, dinoOneop2, Deathspiral_115, bigcoolguy79, Jk338, and jynxsimard for voting in the ship poll. Thanks for your guy's participation! Also, the poll is still open until April 28, so get to voting! (when I have a poll, PLEASE participate, it makes my job a lot easier)
With all that being said, hope you guys enjoy this one!
POV: 3RD PERSON
It was the first night of Beacon, and everyone was in pajamas. Ruby was lying on the floor, writing a letter as Yang approached. She fell onto the sleeping bag next to Ruby, trying to start a conversation.
"It's like a big slumber party!"
"I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys though." Ruby remarked.
"I know I do!" Yang began to purr as she saw several shirtless dudes, before seeing Jaune in a onesie waving to her. She groaned in disgust at the sight of him. She looked back at Ruby who was continuing to write in her letter. "What's that?"
"A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going."
"Aww that's so cuuuuute!"
"Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!"
"What about Jaune? Hes... nice. That's one friend. It's a hundred percent increase!"
"Pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to zero."
"There's no such things as negative friends! You just made one friend and one enemy! Plus you still have Six, wanna go find him?"
"I don't know if he would consider me a friend though. He doesn't seem to-wait... That girl." Ruby pointed at the girl with a bow on her head, who was reading a book.
"Hmm? You know her?" Yang asked.
"Sort of. Never caught her name. I noticed she was on the sidelines when Weiss and Six were arguing." Ruby said.
"Well now's your chance!" Yang started to drag Ruby with her as she strode over to the girl with the bow.
"Wait, what are you doing, I thought we were going to find Six!"
"Oh we can always find that hunk of metal some other time!"
Ruby looked behind her only to see Six decloak and was struck with fear once more. 'Y-y-Yang, behind y-you."
Yang turned around only to see Six towering over her, making her freak out and fall to the floor while screaming.
"AAAAAAAAAH, dude what the hell!?"
"I'm not a hunk of metal, I'm a human, just like the two of you."
"Sorry for calling you a hunk of metal Six, I'll try not to say that again. Anyways, now that Six is here, why don't we say hi to that girl?"
Ruby sighed in defeat. "Fine Yang."
Yang proceeded to drag Ruby by her arm to where the girl in black was.
"Hel-loooooooooo, I believe you three might know each other." announced Yang.
"Aren't you two the people who were arguing with the heiress?"
"Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me ch-actually, you can just call me Ruby."
"Okay... and you are?"
"...Six."
"Okayyy then..." Blake was uninterested with the trio as she continued to read her book.
"What are you guys doing?!" Yang silently yelled.
"I don't know, help me!" exclaimed Ruby.
Six just shrugged and walked away. (insert gigachad music)
"Noooooo, Six, where are you going!?"
Ruby received no response as Six cloaked himself once more, disappearing.
"So... What's your name?" asked Yang.
"Blake."
"Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!"
"(sighs)Thanks!"
"It goes great with your... pajamas!"
"Right..."
"Nice night, don't you think?"
" Yes - it's lovely! Almost as lovely as this book!"
The room was deathly silent.
"That I will continue to read."
The silence only increased as the people around them stopped talking.
"As soon as you two leave!" Blake announced.
"Yeah, this girl's a lost cause."
Ruby elbowed Yang. "What's it about?"
"Huh?"
"Your book. Does it have a name?"
"Well... I-it's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body." (she's lying, it's smut)
"Oh, yeah... That's real lovely!"
"I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress!"
"And why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?"
"Well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books, someone who fought for what was right, and protected people who couldn't protect themselves."
"That's very ambitious for a child. Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."
"But that's why we're here! To make it better."
"Oh, I am so proud of my baby sister!" Yang proceeded to lift Ruby into the air, hugging her, and resulting in Ruby punching Yang in the face, resulting in a brief fight.
"Well, Ruby, Yang, it's a pleasure to-"
Weiss suddenly came up from behind to started to yell. "What in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?! Oh, not you again!"
"Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!"
"Oh, now you're on my side!"
"I was always on your side!"
"Yeah, what's your problem with my sister? She's only trying to be nice!"
"She's a hazard to my health!"
Blake stopped reading to watch the predicament in front of her, while Ruby wishing that Six was here to put some sense into Weiss again.
Sorry if the chapter is a little short for you guys, but Part III is almost finished. My upload schedule is also very random, so Part III may come in a month or a week. With all that being said, have a good night(or day!)!
