The Boy I Used to Love

'Chapter 1,

Things you need to know for this chapter:

Avery = Bird/Cheese (don't ask about that one) But like, Ave ry, so like bird ry? Idk

Avery does not know Wilbur Soot is her ex, as she never found out about his internet persona. To her, he is William Gold, the boy who NEVER met her brother.

My brother has some really weird friends. Of course, he also makes Minecraft videos and is best friends with TommyInnit as well, so that's sort of to be expected. So when Toby brought up the idea of a meetup between him and all of his Minecraft friends, I was skeptical as best. 

"Bird! I promise, they'll be normal!"

"Oh yeah? Tell me exactly one thing that is 'normal' about your friends?"

"Um." Toby looked unsure, so I sprang.

"Exactly! Toby, you know I love Tom as much as you do, he's like another brother to me- but he is simply too loud and too rowdy for this tiny little neighborhood."

"But Wilbur-"

"Sounds like an absolute moron," I snapped back, "He literally wrote a song about how a hoodie with girl's erotic faces on it was a work of art."

"Fine! Maybe they're totally deranged! So what? Just give them a chance, 'Vrey!"

I sighed, rubbing my temples. "One week. We'll start with one week."

Toby nodded slowly. "And if they turn out to be okay?"

"Then we can talk about week two." I smiled gently, before letting my gaze sharpen again. "Now scoot, and let me write this email in peace before I change my mind. Go on!"

Toby called out "Thanks, Cheese- Love you!" Before running off to his room.
