"pip?..."
she sealed her eyes shut, for a few seconds.
was this really happening?
it had been four years. four. since she had last saw him.
1,460 days..
35,040 hours..
20,463,360 minutes.
but now that clock would restart as pip turned around, opening her eyes.
and while she opened her eyes to see the love of her life, her partner in crime, and her lover..
tears fell from her right eye,
ever so slightly.
he hadn't changed a bit.
his black fluffy hair still swooshed right above his eyebrows..
his nose had a slight glow at the peak.
his lips full.
only difference was the dark eye bags below his beautiful eyes.
and once her hazel-green eyes met his dark coffee brown's,
the tears seemed to pick up there pace as she broke into a sob.
her knees weeking when he begun crying aswell.
they collapsed- into eachothers arms.
a moment she would never forget.
he pulled back and grabbed her face- looking down at the girl below him.
searching for words, sentences- to start off there new introduction.
"ravi- i've missed you so much- i'm sorry i left so soon i just.. i couldn't be there anymore i-", pip started..
but ravi cut her off- kissing her lips gently, a tear of his own fell down his cheek, onto her chin.
they both broke into a small smile and looked at eachother.
"it's okay. i understand. all that matters now is that we're here- here together. and we're gonna get out of here. okay, sarge?"
she smiled at the nickname he had given her ages ago.
the nickname he gave her when they first begun the Andie Bell case.
the nickname he had texted her , just a year after he fleeing Little Kilton.
"okay."
and there it was,
the two placed themselves, hand in hand- like it had always been.
and borded the train.
but not before pip pulled a hood over her head and tucked her hair in gently.
now, they would be gone.
far away from Little Kilton.
far away from the trauma.
far away from the danger.
and they would be off-
forever together, to settle somewhere far away.
maybe even start a family of their own.
not all stories have happy endings.
but this one did- despite how long it took.
