Shopping trip.

Fan woke up in a room, it was really tidy

All of the sudden, he just remembered the little meeting with him and his friends, he definitely missed it, didn't he?, what a shame.

Then he realized..

He is in Test Tube's room.

He clearly knew it due to the slight smell of her through the room, the various lab coats haged up, (Jeez, how many of those does she own?!), and the laptop out in the open, and on.

Then out of the blue his curiosity rised, he wanted to take a little peek at the laptop, anyways not like Test Tube was in the room, very big probability that curiosity kills the cat here. But then again, no one in the room, right?, a tad peek wouln't hurt.

He sat down near the desk and began fiddling around in the laptop, but just as he was about to click on the explorer icon, he noticed someting..

A notepad file with the name "02/02". Huh, its titled with his own birthday date. Wonder what it could be. As soon as he opened it though.. the only two phrases (and a half) he read was, "its his birtday today..  i wonder if ill ever get to tell him how-". But he got cut off as the teams most brightest leader barged in and said:

Switching to Fan's POV:

"Yo, paper face! Just came here to check on you and- uh.. What are you doing with Test Tube's computer?.."

Oh god this is kinda embarrassing.. Just play it cool Fan, play it cool..

"Ahaha!- umm.. She left her computer on, i just wanted to turn it off for her.." I really hope she buys it.. Goodness it's just too embarrasing in here..

"Ohh, okay. Thats cool and all but i wanted to ask you if you wanted to go out with me, Painty, and Tube!, ya'know- like- a double dat-" Just when i thought it couldn't get worse!

"A-a A Double date?!-, are you out of you- mph!!-" 

"Relax, Fanster!, its not like you two are datin' anyway! you can still go as little platonic buddies!"

 She said, with a lot of enthusiasm, but then again, While you and Paintbrush make out near a corner?!, No way!.. but at least Test Tube will be there.. guess its alright! (sheesh Fan not like you wanna make out with Test Tube either-   -clyde the a/n drunk on water 2023)

"A-alright.. As long as Test Tube is there i guess i'll liv-"

"Great!! let's join Painty and Testy!" she said as she cut me off, and grabbed my hand and led me out of the lab.

Once we were out, I saw Test Tube was giving a slightly sheepish smile whilist Lightbulb was just being all flirty with Paintbrush, eugh. We were all in the fields, outside of the lab, and we were all planning to go to the mall! Although i don't really like going out sometimes.. that place makes me too nervous..

No one's POV:

The bright leader thankfully had a car, but the problem is her driving skills, pretty much all her teammates feared her when it came across them.

Just in the middle of the drive, Lightbulb was driving as if it were the last day on earth, Paintbrush was practically yelling on why she shouldn't drive so fast, Test tube for some reason reading a book just fine, and Fan.. Boy wasn't he having a good ride.

"LIGHTBULB!, BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME!!, We almost had a car crash because of you!" They complained as they stepped out of the vehicle.

"Jeez Painty! no need to be such a spaz!, anyways we're here!" She said as if she did not just traumatize both Fan and Paintbrush.

Test Tube got off the car easily, meanwhile Fan almost fell flat on his face! (ha- get it? - a/n) , Altough Test tube caught him in time, and lifted him up bridal style, only to set him back down after.

'Goodness is Test Tube strong..' Fan thought to himself.

Immediantely as all four of them walked into the mall, Lightbulb began talking and spouting ot nonsense and funny stories to Paintbrush, Although they may look too serious, and they scold their girlfriend for doing the most wreckless things. They loved her, they just couldn't imagine what it would be like without her.

Honestly?, At this point the other two wished they could be just like them. Though, they're not sure what the other would think if one of them confessed, and they think it could probably tore their friendship apart. So they kept it pretty much a secret from eachother.

But, they still tried to get to that same point. As Fan gestured Test Tube to hold his hand, she took it with zero hesitation. Fan instantly got flustered at that. While she shot him a warm smile, They both continued walking until the four split up into pairs and whent wherever, they did have a meeting point though after strolling.

Lightbulb and paintbrush were at.. Wherever Lightbulb wanted to go, like plushie stores, and other pretty wacky places, though spent a lot of time in an art gallery nearby.

On the other hand, the two nerds where just walking, not stopping by anywhere, it was slightly comforting for them, the sweet silence and fuzzy vibes in the air, how they wished they had these kinds of moments often, especially Fan.

"Hey, Fan?.. are you alright?" Test Tube said out of the blue. trying to also add a bit of small talk to their moment

Just her question pulled Fan out of his romantic trance, and he snapped back to look at her. He was a flustered mess!, just as he scrabbled about Test Tube slightly worried

"A-a im.. good.-" He said, in a hurry, "Really now?.. you're all red! we can go back home if you'd like-" She said, very worried about the guy, but cut off with another flustered remark.

"N-No! i swear im ok!- im just very um.. Nervous! i feel like ive been out of home for too long.." Test Tube understood him, Heck! she never left her lab either.

"Thats ok!, im just glad the both of us are able to get some air after a while!" She said, very cherfully yet a slight naive about why Fan acted like this. So thats why she bought his lie.

"Y-yeah.. both of us.. ehe." He said, noticing on how it's almost coincidential on how both haven't went out for more than the time they're usually out, and realizing they're using that time to talk, and spend with eachother. It denfinetly drove him more crazier for her.

"Hey!, theres a clothing shop up ahead, and I think you"ll really like it! how about we go check it out?" She said pointing at a store.

"Sure." He replied, he wanted to see where this day took him to.
