Part 19

Cara's POV
It was 12 midnight and I was pacing back and forth at the waiting area of the hospital. I remebered the events that occurred..earlier. I never seen her this weak before.

We were out of Kendall's house. I carried her in since I can't stand the pain she endures herself into. I looked at her she was breathing quite oddly and she was pale.
"Nicole im taking you to the hospital." I said and buckled her up. She was silent. As I seated inside my car. I started the engine and went off the hospital.

I kept looking at her oddly. There was something different about her. I was in a hurry by the way. A stop light soon showed and I was eager to know why she isn't moving.

"Nicole?" I shook her lightly. No response.
"Nicole?!" I tried louder. I began to shake with fear.
"N-Nicole?!?!" I shook her and soon I directed my finger to her pulse.

I widen in shock..she's going out..I looked at the light and it was still red I didn't hesitate to break the rules I did it already. I drove fast. Not stopping for anything. You can't die. Why does she have to do this...

"Nicole stay with me!" I shook her while my eyes where glued to the road I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed my moms number.
"Mum!...im on my way to the hospital!"
"What's wrong cara?!" Soon I began to shed tears
"Nicole! She's dying.." I hanged up and drive faster.

That's how I came here. I was already panicking.
"Cara?!" I looked to see my mom...with her is Nick..he was in a panic state as well
"Where's Nicole?!" He said rushing to me. Hugging me with tears in his eyes.
I can't help but cry too
"Don't worry..she'll be fine...she's strong." I said and hugged him
"I can't loose her Cara!..she's the only person I have as a family.." He cried in my arms as I cried with him.

"Cara....im sorry baby.." Mom soon hugged both of us.
I cried on her shoulders
"Where's Nicole?" I looked to see a man. He was wearing a business suite and was carrying a suite case with him...he had almost dark grey hair and a worried expression. He had gold rings on his finger indicating her was rich..
"Daddy!" Nick came hugging the man.
"Hey buddy hows your sister." He said
"Shes dying dad.." Nick said hugging the old man...tithly.
He soon walked up to me....
"You must be Cara?...I would like to say thank you. For bringing her here." He said and held my hand gently
"What ever your relationship with Nicole..I fully support it." He said and shook my hand. It was a great feeling. Her father accepted me and we aren't even dating...yet.
But somehow I could never smile knowing something was about to happen

"Any relatives of ms. Carter.." Her dad 'ryan' soon stood up the nurse led him to a private room for a talk...I kept crying...

After a full 12 minutes ryan finally came out with a blank expression but I can tell something was wrong.

"Nicole...has heart deficiency...and she's dying.." He mumbled out to us. He soon wiped his face I can tell he was crying.
"What would we do?" Nick said
"A heart transplant has to be conducted..." He said and signed. And seated back frustrated. "But-there's a 40 to 70 chance she'll never make it.." He said and looked at me...I didn't know what to do.
"Will you take the chance?" I asked him straight..
"I'll take the chance if you would allow me?" He said this isn't my decision? He continued "a lot can change in a 40 percent rating?" He said I know...a lot..
"I'll allow it.." I singed
"Okay get the nurse and the doctors.." Nicole will be operated tonight and there's a 70% chance she will not survive? I sat and covered my face with my hands....I felt someone comforting me it was my mom
"She'll make it honey.."
"I hope so mom.." I hugged her
