LANDO WAS IN HIS kitchen preparing breakfast for the three of them, as Elena was getting ready. It was Monday, one day after the race in Monza, and Elena would be writing one of her biggest exams. Meanwhile, Max was in his room, regretting his decision telling to Lando to bring Elena with them back to Woking. "Come down guys, we have to leave in thirty minutes" Lando yelled and the two friends came down laughing at something Max had said. "And then he slipped" Max exclaimed and showed to Elena a photo with Lando on the floor. "Hahaha, oh my god. Lando what were you doing?" she asked and looked at her boyfriend. Lando shook his head and smiled at the two of them. "Come here love, how are you feeling? Ready for the exam?" he said and kissed her forehead. "Yeah, I am going to get over 95%" she replied and Max grinned. "That's our smart friend" the ex driver said and hug both of them. "I am your child, literally" he added and the couple looked at him questionably. "What?" Lando asked him confused and Elena laughed. "I think that it's the best to stop this conversation here. We should eat and leave, if we want to be on time at the university" she told to them and they nodded.
Lando and Max were waiting on a cafe, near to the university, waiting for Elena. Max was showing all the gossip around his two friends and they were laughing at the reactions that the fans had. "Max" Lando began and looked at him. "What did you mean by being our child in the morning?" he added and Max chuckled. "Oh Lando, you are so young to be a dad. I just had read on twitter someone saying that Elena is the mum of our group, you are the father and I am your son" he explained and Lando looked at him strangely. "What are you talking about?" he asked Max rolled his eyes. "Hey! No eye rolling on me" Lando said sternly and Max looked at him. "That's what they are talking about" he murmured looked around.
Elena took a deep breath and let her pen down, as she heard the professor yelling that the time had passed. Unfortunately, she had not succeeded to finish the whole exam, because she had struggled answering one question, resulting to not have enough time to finish it. She stood up and left her papers on the desk, before leaving the classroom. While she was heading back where the boys had left her, she began crying. If she had not gone to the race yesterday, she could have read again and again that question and she would know what to write. Lando saw her crying, a scene that broke his heart. He immediately stood up, leaving Max confused, and hugged her. The girl began sobbing and murmuring how she had messed up. Lando sighed and signalled to Max to get his card and pay for the drinks, while he would go to the car with Elena.
