I stared at him. Those black eyes staring back at me from the other side of the living room were burning into my soul and my skin felt as if it were running away from my body. I clenched and unclenched my fist, hardly having a tactic in my messy brain to try and throw out onto the table. But where exactly do you find advice for being stuck in a room with a vampire?

"What is it you call this in English?" He asks me, flickering his eyes between the fire and my eyes – two very similar things right now.

"Illegal... Kidnapping... Fucking psycho?" I suggest, an eyebrow raising yet as I watched him reposition himself from his position, I somehow found myself cowering back down – leaving my mouth to quieten down for the time being.

"A fireplace." I reply small and he sighs, tapping his finger on the side of the couch, making my skin tingle.

"Right..." He says slowly. "Do you like fireplaces?"

"No." I mutter. "People find them romantic but I think they're a safety hazard and I'm nervous. Especially around you." I say truthfully, his lip biting quickly. His finger clicks and a loud gush of wind stoops by, the fire blowing out as if it were lit in the snow-glazed mountains.

"Okay, so you don't like fireplaces." He observes, nodding slowly.

"I-I know you've 'claimed' me... Or whatever you like to call it. But keep in mind I am a human being. You can't just tamper everything to my likings because of it." I whisper scarcely.

"You're not a human being. You're my human being and I know you don't like that but that's just how it is." He says lowly. "It's a forever long deal."

"Deal? I don't remember agreeing to any deal." I stutter.

"You sealed the deal by kissing me back Niall. I quite liked it."

"I'm a teenager and you happened to be hot – in your human form." I reply, shaking my head. "You can't just claim me because of my raging hormones."

"Just watch me." He prowls slowly, his lips becoming of that gut-wrenching smirk which sends my insides to a confusing butterfly nest.

"I want to leave, I need to see air." I whisper, almost pained from being here and he nods to himself, standing to his feet.

"Where do you want to be?" He asks me softly, head tilted to the side and I huff, looking down.

"I want to be back home. I want to be in my room with Louis and Liam... Even Harry." I murmur out, my eyes down. "I want to be away from here."

He chuckles.

"Why didn't you just say so?" He asks then I huff, shutting my eyes.

As I reopened my eyes, I wasn't faced with dark eyes, staring deeply into my own to the point where I felt scared to my core. Instead, I saw lazy blues ones, glued to a page.
