This morning before i woke up; i looked into my alarm clock that seems to be ringing all day then realize, i was late for Neymar's morning exercise. Normally, Ali will arrive first and Neymar shall be awake by himself to do the morning exercise with Ali but since Ali won't be coming here today, i have to be the one that escorts him. I immediately jump out from my bed and sprint to the kitchen to deliver Neymar's breakfast that was already made by the chef worker. Neymar doesn't like it when someone barge into his room, so i give a few knocks before i walk inside and found him still sleeping on his bed. Slowly, i give Neymar a light taps to wake him up but he doesn't show any reactions.

"Neymar, wake up! We're late for the morning exercise, i should wake you up earlier."

I unlatch the blanket that was covering his whole body, but i saw Neymar was laying there; face turns pale, body soaking from the massive sweats, and little shivers from the corner of his mouth. My thoughts went empty at the moment. I kept on calling his name—hoping to regain his consciousness—but he's not responding at all. Right just in time when i have no idea what else should i do, i received a phone call from Ali to check in on Neymar and i ask him to send an ambulance immediately before Neymar's condition is getting worse.

As days goes on, Neymar is still laying on his ICU hospital bed with bunch of cables tied into a machine around him. This kind of strange situation reminds me a lot of my father's days at the hospital back then. It's like having a dejavu all over again and i hate the sense of it. It's a very breaking scene to see Rafaella and their family, especially Davi Lucca, worrying about Neymar that's not supposed to be here if i didn't fail at taking care of him. Practically, it was all my fault.

"You haven't sleep since the first day he got here, you should get some rest." Rafaella came to sit beside me. "He will be fine."

"I'm sorry, Rafa. It's all my fault."

"No, please stop blaming yourself. No one knows if this gonna happened and Neymar won't be happy if you blame yourself like this."

"He shouldn't be here. Everything was going so well until i saw him that morning." I'm trying to control my trembling voice. The day where i found him unconcious on his bed, again reminds me of those bad times where i heard about my mother's cancer for the first time or the moment when my father decided to leave us forever. The thought of losing someone i love the most forever, terrifies me a lot.

"God has plan for him. If he had to go through all these struggles before he finally gets his recovery, i know it will be worth it at the end." Rafaella gives me a hug. I should be the one that's comforting her right now, but Rafa happened to be the bigger person than i am.

Then, i saw Davi Lucca just came back from the hospital cafeteria with Neymar's father and he went to sit beside me, to show off the snacks he just bought earlier. This time, he's the one that bring out his phone to open the Google Translate app. Davi said, he downloaded it only to communicate with me, even Rafaella told me he's trying to learn French and ask Carol to sign him up on a French language class. This little guy already caught my heart from the beginning and Neymar is so lucky to have a son like Davi.

"Alana, don't be sad. Papai will be okay." He gives me one of his potato chips. I haven't really got time to properly eat since three days ago, so i accept it.

"I know, he will." I brushed the top of his head. "Your Papai will be happy if he knows you're here."

"I broke the Nintendo Switch Papai gave me for Christmas last year, but he promised to buy me another one. Let's go to the Game Store together when he wakes up!"
