We walked back into the house and my nose was still bleeding.
"Hey Katie, I have your stuff."
She turned around and looked at me.
"Oh my god! Finn! Did dad do that to you?"
"Yeah. I'm fine though. Just lay down."
"Finn.."
"I'm okay kid. I promise. Just go to sleep."
I walked into the kitchen and Nick pulled out a first aid kit from one of the cabinets.
"I'm fine. I promise."
"I know, but I just wanna be sure.."
Nick wiped some of the blood from my nose.
"It really bothers we that you guys have to deal with that."
"Don't tell Katie, but after my next couple of paychecks, I'm gonna buy an apartment. I will get full guardianship of her. I know I can."
Nick put his hand just below my shoulder.
"You'll get it. I know you will."
I looked up at Nick.
"You look really cute just staring at me. Don't think I didn't realize it."
Nick smiled a little.
"I didn't think you noticed."
"I always notice when cute guys actually pay attention to me."
Chris walked into the room.
"Katie's a nice kid."
"Yeah.. she is. She just doesn't deserve the shit she goes through."
"What do you mean?" Chris asked in a concerned way.
"There's this group of girls at her school who know that we're on the poor side. I bought her an iphone and a pair of vans to throw them off and it worked for a while, but now they are just being little bitches and I don't know how to stop it. Nick had an idea though."
"And what's that?"
"What if we pick her up from school tomorrow? She can be like 'oh i'm friends with Sturniolos' then boom. Those bitches will be so pissed off."
"I'm down for it. I would ask Matt, but he fell asleep next to her."
I chuckled a little bit.
"You guys are triplets. Right? I don't know how I didn't notice it."
"I thought you always noticed cute guys." Nick said with a smirk.
"Haha. Cute." I said with a smile.
The triplets were so sweet to me and Katie. I had the insane idea of moving in with the triplets. Katie wouldn't have to be made fun of anymore since we'd be living in a nice place in LA and it would be like she has 4 brothers instead of just me. And on top of that, I'd be able to be in a relationship.. maybe even with Nick, but once again, I'm just going crazy.
