The lost battleship of the southern trench

Chapter 42

Time skip 6 hours, location off the coast of Reykjavík

Charybdis could be seen floating above her giant form which was mostly hidden under the water. She was surrounded by a massive fleet of Techno Abyssals and a few mass produced Siren ships. Because it was nighttime the glowing lights from the Abyssals and mass produced Siren made them seem even more ominous. She wasn't alone as Battleship Princess and Battleship Water Oni were nearby her.

A floating screen could be seen in front of them, it was playing a video feed of Suðureyri. It was one village that the Abyssals took and converted for their own purposes. Though it was a smaller base they had and as such didn't have too many Techno Abyssals guarding it. But the video feed showed that it was devastated. Southern Yamato's new monster Abyssals could be seen destroying the main base itself, with her ship sitting off the coastline. Nine thin purple laser beams could be seen coming out of her guns and impacting an Abyssal factory obliterating it easily.

Charybdis sighed seeing this, though before she could say anything the feed got fuzzy before disconnecting, as a piece of debris wherever hit the camera was. Battleship Princess and Battleship Water Oni looked at each other, with concerned faces, before looking to Charybdis. There was a moment's pause before Charybdis sighed again and said "it seems Yamato and Southern War Princess have finally united into a Hadal"

"But even she alone won't be enough to beat us" Battleship Water Oni said.

"Perhaps... But she isn't alone. At their current speed the ship girls will be here in 6 hours. It'll be almost dawn by that point" Charybdis paused for a moment as she thought "there are three beings currently that together possess the ability to take me down. If no more Hadals are born then it shall stay that way. Or preferably they shall lose one another"

"Who are they? They'll make fine targets to focus on" Battleship Princess asked.

Charybdis now turned around to look at the two "Southern, Bismarck and Enterprise. Though technically Southern and either one of the other two could lower my shields down to a level where I'm vulnerable"

"Then should we send our teams through to the other universes, to get reinforcements?"

Charybdis paused contemplating whether or not she should do so, as such a thing was originally a backup plan. But she didn't like the odds of having three beings that could defeat her if they worked together. Sure, Enterprise and Bismarck may be easier to kill in comparison to Southern Yamato. But even if they died they could weaken her to a point where Southern could make sure their deaths weren't for nothing.

She sighed before nodding "Yes. Give the order for all teams to go through. Anyone who is willing to ally with us is to rendezvous here. And if they want to, they shall be given my blessing"

"And if they meet any resistance in those universes?"

"Obliterate them"

Battleship Princess smiled before bowing slightly. Then she gave the order over the radio "all traveler teams, you have permission to start the Dark Pillars" There was about a minute's delay before the three could see about a dozen and a half Dark Pillars rising up into the night's sky.

Location 400 kilometers southeast of Reykjavík

Now Enterprise could be seen on top of the bridge of Challenger. She gazed northwards at the Dark Pillars that rose up from Iceland. She had a bad feeling about the Pillars. She had heard about one happening before somewhere in Oceania, but what it exactly was, was unknown to her and the humans but she knew it couldn't be good.
