愛？

chapter 8

We had a national tournament coming up soon, therefore we had to do many hours of training. But one night he went to train and he was smiling at me as soon as I entered the dojo, well after training my mom invited us to eat at my aunt's place. On our way there I feel asleep and when we got there they woke me up and I heard him saying "Cho, she really fell asleep" and I got up. everyone took their orders and they began to eat as soon as they were served, but I didn’t ordered anything because I wasn't hungry and he didn't order nothing either, I got a little worried of why he didn't ordered anything. I took out my phone and began to read a book and he was sitting beside me so I guess he wanted to see  what I was reading but I didn't wanted to show him because it was this book. I had a bracelet on my hand and I'm assuming that he saw the letters on it and he just wanted to make sure which letters were on it, but I refused because I was afraid that he would call me a freak for being so obsess with him. After that night I wasn’t able to stop myself from thinking about him.
We kept training even though he didn’t went so often due to school, I have to admit I missed him a lot; I missed his laugh, his hair, his brown eyes, his everything. The day of the national training came and they arrived at the place before us… one of my good friends Taira along with his little brother Amuri were there with their father and they were all cheering me up. I was enjoying everything even though Suzume wasn’t really talking to me, I mean I comprehend him he doesn’t see his friend from that district so often so he wanted to pass time with them; but to honest I kind of felt left over because they were no other persons but the boys that I knew and they were all talking and enjoying with each other except for me. Shairimu suggested me to go practice my katas that I would perform but before that he was making fun of me about the guy he thinks I like. But of course he was right. I followed his suggestion and I went to train, I was alone I liked it; it was tranquil, I manage to focus but few minutes later Tonycame and started practicing his katas in one hand there was nothing wrong with him practicing but in the other it was very annoying because he was humming a song and it was bothering my concentration. So I chose to step out, while I was near the door my face landed on Suzume’s chest, I began to blush up therefore I took a step back and he touched my lips in front of Leno!! Never thought he would do such thing in front of people. The funny thing is that many girls want him, and I’m one of those girls that want him. As I mentioned before I was going outside and when I did, I asked Taira to be my partner of kumite just so I can warm up before I went up and fight, before he even agreed he asked  ‘what happened?’ I complained to him that I felt lonely and that everyone from the dojo were ignoring me in addition I begged him once again if he can help me warm up for kumite. He smiled and asked ‘why? Is your babe not talking to you?’ I had to act like I didn’t know what he was talking about because Suzume was around the area, but at the end he agreed and he assisted me. The fact that he doesn’t train anymore but still made and effort to help me was very appreciated by me. And if we talk about Amuri as soon as he saw me he opened his arms and said ‘don’t you want a hug this time’ he’s not one of those kids that like hugs or that get attached to girls easily but I received a hug from him… it was great because I managed to get something from him that not everyone can get. I got a hug from him. His brother and everyone else was shocked. The tournament of kumite started and Suzume helped me putting on my gears and it was adorable because all the other girls were doing it by themselves. At the end of the day, I won first place in kata, and third on kumite…that’s all I can remember. It was a beautiful day and it will remain in me forever.
