Rhaenyra looked at the babe in her hands. The King could not know she had a daughter, when she was supposed to be married to Laenor Velaryon.

" Rhaenyra?" Alicent asked as Rhaenyra handed the babe off.

" Yes, Queen?" Rhaenyra spoke bitterly, turning to the Queen in green.

" Why are you giving her away? She has silver hair she would be known as yours." Alicent shook her head.

" My father cannot know. My honor would be ruined." Rhaenyra scoffed.

Alicent stood in silence at the bitterness the Princess spoke of her daughter with. Her firstborn child.

Alicent couldn't let this babe suffer. She wouldn't.

" I will take her." Alicent nodded, taking the silver headed babe from the wetnurse.

" What?!" Rhaenyra exclaimed.

" I am the Queen. This babe is mine now." Alicent looked up to Rhaenyra, before turning to exit the room.

7 YEARS LATER

Vhaelyra looked towards Aemond, laughing at the young boy who couldn't wield a sword. Even she, a lady, could handle a sword better than he.

" Princess, I don't-" Ser Crison began.

" I am supposed to accompany the boys today. Learn how to fight with the sword." She smiled, the lie slipping off her tongue easily.

" Now, Princess, I know Queen Alicent wouldn't allow it." Ser Crison crossed his arms. " Back to your lessons, now." He nodded.

The two dark haired boys chuckled behind her. She huffed, spinning on her heel to face them with a smile.

" You wish to laugh?" She tilted her head. The two continued laughing. " Aemond." She held out her hand. " Give me the sword." She turned to her younger brother, as he handed her the wooden sword.

She turned back to the oldest, Jacaerys, and pointed to him with it. " Spar with me, Strong."

" I am a Velaryon." Jacaeys growled.

" Hm." Vhaelyra muttered. She nodded, the other boys watching her carefully. " Your dark hair says differently. Tell me, how do you and young Lucerys Strong have hair the color of ravens, when your parents have hair the color of snow?" She smirked, as the young boy screamed, rushing towards her.

She stepped out of the way, hitting him in the back. She turned to him. " That is not very Strong of you, Jacaerys."

" I am a Velaryon!" He screamed, running at her again.

She brought her sword up, stepping away from him, before pressing the sword against his throat from behind.

" I win. You died." She whispered in his ear, removing her sword from his neck, shoving the young boy of 5 down.

3 YEARS LATER

Vhaelyra looked to the large beast that her father rode. Balerion the Black Dread he was called. The largest in the world. He looked to her, his eyes dark as night. Dead.

He growled softly, before launching himself into the sky, knocking the young girl of 10 down. The two strong boys laughed, as Aegon helped her up.

" Jacaerys, best remember my dragon is larger than yours, and I have bested you with a sword." She spoke, dusting off her leathers as she turned to the boy of 8.

He silenced, narrowing his eyes at her.

" Strong bastard." Vhaelyra muttered under her breath as she walked, Aegon and Aemond by her side.

" Lyra, you cannot say such things in the open." Aegon smirked, looking to his sister. He knew the truth of her, that she wasn't his sister, but his niece.

" We all know its the truth. Just look at them." She looked back to the two boys, before scoffing, turning back to the path as they walked towards the dragon pit.

" You still cannot say such things." Aemond spoke up, walking beside the two older kids.

Vhaelyra scoffed, rolling her eyes. A screech filled the air, as all the kids stopped. Aegon and Aemond moved to sheild Vhaelyra, as Jacaerys moved to sheild Lucerys.

A shadow fell over them, as the dragon descended.

" Valyr!" Vhaelyra shouted, moving away from the two boys. The large black dragon landed, his blue eyes piercing as he snarled to the boys. " Henujagon zirȳ sagon. Pōnta issi sepār dovodedha vali."

Valyr looked to the young girl, before back to the boys. Aegon and Aemond stood with their arms crossed, smiling to their sister.

Jacaerys and Lucerys stood, looking terrified at the large dragon.

Vhaelyra gently pat Valyr. " Sōves!" She shouted, stepping away from him and back to her brothers. Valyr snarled to the two brown haired boys, before launching himself up into the sky, dissapearing among the clouds.

2 WEEKS LATER

Vhaelyra ran into the room, freezing at the sight that was laid out before her. Rhaenyra bleeding, a dagger clattering to the ground infront of Alicent. A clear division, as Aemond walked up to their mother.

" Do not mourn me, Mother. I may have lost an eye, but I gained a dragon."

A dragon?

MORNING

Vhaelyra smiled to Aemond as he mounted Vhagar. Valyr shook his body, watching Dreamfyre and Sunfyre take off.

" Ready?" Vhaelyra asked, as Aemond nodded eagerly, smiling.

" Sōves!" The two young kids shouted, their dragons moving to the edge of the cliff, before Vhagar launched herself off, and Valyr dived off, rocketing towards the water.

Vhaelyra laughed, as he soared right above the water, before climbing higher to fly with the others.
