New job

Three months later,

"You know I have taught you Biochemistry, Psychology, Anatomy, Math, Human biology, immunology and now it is remaining Microbiology," said Conall talking to Emily.

"We have two months left," said Emily happily.

"Now this is the final change" said Conall happily handling Emily an envelope of cash.

Emily took the money from his hands. She smiled.

"Now you have shown you are responsible for your actions. Next time don't be paying the landlady 50 thousand dollars for a year" said Emily.

Conall laughed.

"You are lucky you are not my brother or boyfriend you will be dead by now " said Emily.

Conall stood up from his seat and moved towards her and asked" How will you kill me?"

Emily whispered "Don't ever  ask a psycho that question, it would never get you anywhere " She winked at him.

" My heart is pounding fast. Girl, you make me more attracted to you" said Conall. He blew a kiss on her.

They both laughed hard.

"You are so funny," said Conall and Emily to each other.

Conall and Emily blushed at each other.

"Am I disturbing the romance?" Mr Thomas inquired.

"Oh no you are not" said Conall.

Emily blushed the more.

"Mr Conall I would like to talk to you privately" said Mr Thomas.

Conall and Mr Thomas walked away. Emily started playing on her phone. 30 minutes later, Conall came back and sat down near Emily.

"I want to ask you something" said Conall nervously.

"What is it?" Emily asked while smiling at him.

"Would you like to come to my apartment and taste the food that I want to try to prepare and serve for my current job?" He pleaded.

"Sure. You ask the right girl for the job. I love the sight of food" said Emily.

Conall giggled.

"What time should I come?" She quizzed.

"Come by 9 in the evening," said Conall.

"Alright, can't wait" Said Emily.

By 9'o clock,

Emily knocked at his door. Conall opened the door and welcomed her inside. As she entered inside, she saw lots of food on the table.
"Conall, you want me to be fat" said Emily jokily.

Conall chuckled.

Emily walked toward the table. Conall pulled out the chair for her and she sat down. He walked away and walked in front of the table happily.

"Hello, my lady, today you will be tasting Chief Conall's dishes. I hope you would love them as much I love cooking and baking them" said Conall.

Emily nodded smiling.

"Today I will serve you Cheese, rice ,Turkey and vegetables" said Conall.

Conall served the  food to her.

"Will you like wine or water or beer ma?" He inquired her.

"Red wine please" said Emily.

"Woah, someone wants to get drunk" said Conall teasing her.

Emily burst out laughing.

"How would I get drunk from red wine?" She questioned Conall.

"You will never know" said Conall.

"Stupid boy" said Emily.

Conall and Emily started chuckling.
  He served her three-course meals. Emily was full.
"That was  delicious. I approve" said Emily rubbing her stomach.
      Conall smiled. He took away all the plates and start washing them.
"Who taught you how to cook?" Emily asked.
"I learnt it myself" said Conall washing the plates.
"Wow" said Emily.
"Actually you were the first to say you enjoyed my food" said Conall.
"What do you mean?" Emily inquired.
"My mum always criticizes my cooking"  Said Conall.
"Oh sorry about that but why did she do that to you " said Emily. 
"She hates me" said Conall.
"Why does she hate you?" Emily asked.
"I don't know. She was calling me a wicked child, Good for nothing, I will kill people because I don't care about others" said Conall and he started crying.
     Emily stood up and hugged him from behind.
"I tried my best to please her but it wasn't enough. So I worked so hard to leave that house and start a fresh start. I am the one paying for my school fees, house rent and my grandma's bills" said Conall.
      Emily was shocked at what he said.
"I am sorry I paid my rent low but I have been trying to take care of my Grandma and school fees. I need this job, is the best offer that can pay my school fees, grandma and house rent" said Conall. 

He looked at her sadly.

"Not everyone is blessed with a silver spoon and lovely family" said Conall.
"You are right Conall. No one is blessed with that. But hard work and discipline makes the person to have that silver spoon blessing and i am sure your boss will love the food you created. You will be the best Chief and doctor. Trust me I am here for you, always" said Emily.
  Conall hugged her.
