Frenemies

    In school,

"I can't believe you saw an actual whale" said Lei.
"The date was magical. I didn't know Conall knew I love whales" said Emily.
"He is really observant to know" said Zen.
"Yes, he is. Where is Mary?" Emily crossed questions at her friends.
"She went to your house to drop a folder off to your dad" said Lei.
"A folder? But, why a folder?" Emily Questioned.
"Don't know, on the contrary, I think it is important?" said Lei.
"Hmmmm, something doesn't feel right" said Emily.
"I was thinking that too" said Zen.
"Hi Girls" said Conall.
"Hi, Conall" replied the girls.
"Can I speak to Emily alone?" He catechized the girls.
"Sure" said Lei.
Lei dragged Zen away and walked away.
"So what do you want to tell me?" Emily asked Conall.
"I think Mary is sleeping with your dad" said Conall.
"Woah Mary sleeping with my dad? Where is the proof?" Emily questioned Conall.
Conall brought out his phone from his pocket. He strolled through his phone.
"This is it" said Conall.
He showed her a video. In the video, her dad was in the hospital sitting beside Emily laying on the hospital bed eyes closed. Mary came in. They were talking and suddenly her dad's hand reach Mary's lap. Mary kissed her dad.
"Oh my Gosh" said Emily surprised.
"Yep" said Conall
"When was this?" Emily asked.
"27th of April when you went into a coma" said Conall.
"So this started last year and you didn't show me when I entered school" said Emily.
"I wasn't your friend at first but since we are close now to earn your trust I decided to show you" said Conall.
"So for 5 months she has been lying about her boyfriend who is my dad" said Emily.

   Lei and Zen came in rushing 

"What is going on?" Zen asked  .

Conall showed them the video. 

"We wanted to tell you about it but Mary said she will tell you in two weeks' time but she lied" said Zen.

"You motherf***king snake" said Emily.

    She started screaming.  Zen, Lei and Conall looked at her. Daniel and Jack came in.

"What is wrong" said Daniel.

"Did you do something Conall?" Jack asked.

"Nope" said Conall. 

He handled them his phone. 

"Oh she knows" said Jack.

"You knew too and you all kept quite making me look like an idiot" said Emily.  

"No sweetheart, Mary told us she will tell you last month and this month unfortunately she lied" said Conall. 

"Oh well... let show her who is the boss" said Emily.

        Emily walked out of school, entered the car and instructed the driver to take her home. The diver took her to the house. She walked out of the car and knocked at the door aggressively. Mr Thomas opened the door and she walked past him. 

"Emily" said Mr Thomas.

      Mr Thomas followed Emily who was looking around the house and walking aggressively. 

 "Where is she?" Emily asked Mr Thomas.

"Who?" Mr Thomas questioned.

"The gold-digger, Mary" said Emily .

"Oh, she is upstairs in your dad's office" answered Mr Thomas. 

"Perfect" said Emily.

      Emily walked to her dad's office upstairs. She opened the door.

"Hey Pig!" she yelled. 

     Mary frosted on John's lap.

"Emily, what are you doing here?" John inquired her.

  Emily laughed and started clapping.

" What am I doing here? First of all what are you doing with a seventeen years old?" Emily asked John.

"I am almost eighteen" said Mary.

"Shut, i didn't ask you" said Emily.

    Emily looked straight to her dad and folded her arms.

"I am educating her" said John.

"Oh really? You can't let your pointer shot another shot to another woman but it has to point towards a seventeen years old girl who has no brain" said Emily.

"Hey!" Mary shouted.

   Emily looked at her and said" was I talking to you, ehn!" 

"You have no right to talk to me like that. I am your father" said John.

"I don't have a father unfortunately I have a pervert who is living in my house" said Emily. 

"Hey" said Mary.

" If you talk one more time. I would be happy to send you to hell, anyways you are already living in one" said Emily. 

"This not your house. It is  my house and I am an adult" said John.

"Yes it is your house. You hear that Mary, is that what you are into?" said Emily. 

"You have no right to talk to me like this" said Mary.

          Suddenly, the almighty palm of a hand landed on Mary's cheek.  Mary was shocked.

"This is what you get for betraying our friendship" said Emily. 

    Mary held her cheeks.

"You slapped your friend" said John surprised.

"Friend? She is no one and I will be glad to do it again" said Emily.

"Damn" said Mr Thomas standing at the door watching the drama. 

"Father, enjoy yourself with your unqualified woman. I am out" said Emily.

     She walked away. she went to her room and packed all her things. she came downstairs and broke some plates in the kitchen and expensive jugs in the living room and walked out of the house.  She entered the car and the driver drove off.
