Sneaking out

I carefully and quietly snuck out of my home. Me and Neteyam we're meeting tonight.

Neteyam being Neteyam, he gonna be late.

So I lay down on the rock we always meet up at and watch the sky.

Pandora was honestly so beautiful, especially at night.

I was laying on the very large rock, looking at the sky. There were beautiful trees and green plants surrounding me. I could also hear the small sounds of the creatures that come out in the night.

I heard a noise come from below the rock. Neteyam was climbing up.

"Hey." He said as laid next to me.

"You're late. Again." I say.

"Lo'ak was bothering me." He said.

We were in a comfortable silence. I grabbed his hand and held it in mine.

He wasn't big on affection in public. When we were alone though, he was all for it. Hand holding, hugging, kissing, and more.

Especially kissing.

He rubbed his thumb against my hand gently.

(When they do that>>>)

I smiled. We normally came here and talked away some nights, but tonight was one of those nights where we didn't really have anything to say.

"Tuk has been missing you." He said, breaking the silence.

I was really close to Tuk. She seemed to get attached to me very quickly.

"I've missed her." I replied.

"More than me?"

"Yeah."

"Now that just hurts." He said sitting up.

I sit up too with a smile.

"No, not more than you." I say quietly.

I just smiles as he looks at me. I could tell we were both leaning in slightly.

"Skxawng." I say breaking the silence.

He sighed and backed up.

"Always gotta ruin the moment." He says before laying back down.

I laughed slightly and laid beside him.

I could see he was smiling. His smile was perfect. Probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

(The entire Sully family has beautiful smiles)

He was about to say something when we heard something. We both raised up and looked over the rock. There stood Lo'ak with a smirk on his face.

"I didn't know you were one for love, Neteyam." He said.

Neteyam climbed down quickly. I looked over the edge and saw him talking to Lo'ak.

"I said not to follow me." He said.

"I don't listen to you." Lo'ak replied.

"Obviously, last week you disobeyed your father. Again. And who was the one to dress both of your wounds?" I say climbing down.

"Me." I say as my feet hit the ground.

"In my defense, I was bored." Lo'ak says.

"Neteyam was there." I say.

"Yeah, but Neteyam is boring."

"He's not. You're just destructive."

He rolled his eyes and it fell silent. Well, it was silent until I heard Kiri's voice say Lo'aks name.

She came out of the trees and smacked Lo'ak in the back of the head.

"I tried to stop him." She says.

Lo'ak was rubbing the back of his head. Kiri grabbed his shoulder and dragged him with her.

"I'll make sure he doesn't tell dad, have fun." She said before she pulled Lo'ak with her.

I turned to Neteyam as he kept his eyes on the trees until he could no longer see or hear them. He finally turned to me.

"Sorry." He says.

"It's fine." I say.

We just stand there smiling at each other until his kisses me. I kiss back and smile into it.

"I should go." I say.

He nods. I give him a quick kiss before walking away. I smiled my entire way home.
