The sky people were here. I'm not supposed to be here, considering I'm only fifteen. But I don't necessarily care.
I made sure no one noticed me and I kept a gun in my hand.
I looked up and saw Neteyam and Lo'ak on their ikrans. I made sure to keep my head down so they didn't notice me.
I was looking around and saw two sky people with guns. I hid behind a tree and watched as Neteyam landed near them, but not close enough for them to notice him. Lo'ak just keep flying.
I could tell he was getting closer to me. So I moved. He hid behind the tree I was hiding behind and I watched him.
Lo'ak came up behind him and he shot an arrow at one but missed. Now they know someones here.
I watched as they fought. They ran, jumped and more. One of them was sneaking up on Neteyam so I ran out from behind the tree, catching the man's attention.
I felt a sharp pain in my arm, thigh, and side. I shot the man though. As a result, he died.
I fell to the ground. Neteyam and Lo'ak immediately ran over to me.
"Shit." Lo'ak mumbles.
"Y/n, why are you here?" Neteyam asked before he picked me up.
"I was bored." I muttered.
"You remind me of Lo'ak." He says.
He gets on his ikran. Lo'ak got on his and they started flying. I passed out about half way there.
Neteyam
She passed out half way there. Tears were threatening to fall. I went as fast as I could.
If she dies, I don't know what I'll do.
*Time skip*
It's been hours. I've sat here for hours next to her, waiting for the moment she'll wake up.
Y/n
My eyes slowly open to see Neteyam staring down at me. Tears filled his eyes.
"Y/n." He said.
I blink my eyes a few times.
"Neteyam." I replied.
"Why did you go. I told you to stay." He said.
"Because I'm a stupid girl."
"My stupid girl."He says quietly.
I look down at my body.
"Where'd I get shot at again?" I ask.
"Thigh, side, and arm." He said looking at each wound.
"I was so worried." He said.
"I can tell." I say.
"No, you don't understand. You nearly died." He says.
"I know, and I'm sorry."
"Please, just listen to me next time." He says as he rubs my hand gently with his thumb.
I nod.
"I'm sorry for worrying you. But look, I'm still here." I say with a slight smile.
He smiled back at me and hugged me gently. I guess he was scared of hurting me. I ignored the soreness in my body and hugged him back.
