Kasey's POV
Over the next few weeks, Tom's knee injury heals as it should.  By the time the Rangers game has arrived, Tom still needs to use his brace, but he no longer needs to use crutches which means that he is game ready.

I was able to get three vip tickets to the Rangers game for my parents and my little brother Zack. I was also able to convince my boss to allow my family to go back and see the team.

When the guys are all dressed in their gear, I bring my dad and brother into the locker room. My brother is wearing his Wilson jersey and my dad is wearing his Ovechkin jersey.

Zack can barely believe his eyes when he sees the locker room filled with the players. Tom sees us and walks over to greet us.

"Hi guys. I'm glad you came to the game tonight," he says with a smile. My dad shrugs.

"It's your first game back after a month. We wouldn't want to miss it," He says as he shakes Tom's hand.

"Well, thanks for coming." Tom adds. Tom then notices my brother's Wilson jersey. "Nice jersey, man."

My brother is barely paying attention to Tom, his gaze directed towards Alex Ovechkin. I smile and grab my brother's hand, pulling him towards Ovi.

"Ovi, I'd like you to meet my brother, Zack." I say. Ovi smiles and shakes my brother's hand.

"Yes. Kasey has told me a lot about you. You're the boy that I signed a jersey and hockey puck for, right?" He says. My brother nods.

"Yeah. Thank you for signing the jersey and the hockey puck. It was really cool," Zack says with a smile. Ovi shrugs.

"Of course. Anything for Kasey's family,"

My dad walks up to Ovi and shakes his hand.

"It's an honor to meet you, Ovechkin. You have been my favorite player ever since you started playing for the Caps all those years ago," my dad explains with a smile. Ovi nods.

"Well, thank you. Although I'm not the best player in the league,"

"Oh nonsense. You're just being modest. You are definitely the best player in the league," My dad adds.

As my dad and brother are leaving the locker room, they wish the team good luck. Just as I'm about to leave with them, my dad stops me.

"Honey, shouldn't you give Tom a good luck kiss?" He asks. My cheeks flush and I look over at Tom. Tom looks a little shocked at my dad's words.

I walk over to Tom and stand on my tip toes, giving Tom a kiss on the cheek.

"Give him a real kiss," Oshie says from beside me. I glare at Oshie before looking back at Tom.

"I guess they want us to kiss on the lips," I whisper. Tom shrugs.

"Okay," he replies.

I stand on my tip toes again and Tom cups my face in his hands before kissing me on the lips.

When we kiss, I sort of like it. Tom pulls away from me and he has a smile on his face. I'm smiling and I can feel my cheeks getting warm as I stand there staring at him.

"Alright you two love birds, it's game time. Everybody out to the ice," Coach mutters.

My dad and brother go to their seats as the team leaves the locker room. I go into the home team box with the coach. The National Anthem is sung and then the referee drops the puck to start the game.

Wilson's POV
It feels good to be out on the ice for a game again.  Every time I'm out for a suspension or injury, it feels great when I'm finally able to play again.
