Kasey's POV
The next morning during practice, the guys are all changing into their gear in the locker room when Tom's brother, Peter, comes in. I smile as I walk over to him.

"Hi Peter," I say with a smile, giving him a hug. Peter frowns.

"Hi Kasey. So, why'd you invite me here?" He asks. I shrug.

"That's for me to know and you to find out," I say.

Just then, Tom and the rest of the team leave the locker room. Tom is laughing at something that Oshie said, but his face falls when he sees Peter.

"What are you doing here?" Tom asks. Peter shrugs.

"I don't know. Your girlfriend invited me to your practice for some reason,"

Tom looks over at me with a frown. I look between the brothers and smile.

"I invited Peter so that the two of you could play a little hockey together. Like when you two were kids," I explain. Peter frowns.

"Why would I want to play hockey with Bigshot here? He'll probably just shove me into the wall to get the puck back," He mutters. Tom shrugs.

"I'd shove you into the wall even if you didn't have the puck," Tom snaps. Before either of them say much more, I step in.

"Look, guys, I think you should just go play some hockey together. Please, for your mom?" I beg. Tom and Peter look at each other in resentment.

"Fine. But only for mom. When mom leaves, your face is going to meet that glass." Tom threatens. Peter rolls his eyes.

"That's your solution to everything. Just pushing people out of the way to get what you want,"

"Maybe so, but I'm the only one in our family who made it to the NHL." Tom states before skating out on the ice.

Peter joins Tom on the ice while the rest of the team watches from the bench. When the two of them are on center ice, I drop the puck to begin the game.

As the two brothers play, I can tell that they are starting to get along. When their game is over, Tom and Peter give each other hugs and they have a big smiles on their faces.

Tom's parents are watching from behind the glass and Tom's mother mouths a thank you to me. I mouth a you're welcome back to her as Tom skates over to me and Peter leaves the ice.

The Caps all skate onto the ice and begin their practice.

"Kasey, thank you. For everything. It was a great idea to invite Peter here to play a little hockey with me. You're the best," Tom explains. He pulls me into his arms for a hug and then kisses me on the cheek.

Tom skates away and I set my hand on my cheek where Tom kissed me, feeling as though I might melt. I hear someone skate up from behind me and do a hockey stop. I look over to see Ovechkin.

"Hi Ovi. What's up?"

"I think Willy is in love with you, Kasey." Ovi replies with a smile. I blush.

"I don't think so. He was just trying to be nice," I mutter. Tom skates back over to me with a big smile on his face.

"Kasey, do you wanna go out to lunch with me after practice?" He asks. I nod.

"Sure. I'd love to,"

"Awesome. I know a great place here in the city that we can go to," Tom says. I smile.

"Sounds great,"

Tom skates back to the rest of the team, but Ovi is still next to me. I bite my lip and look over at Ovi.

"I think you're right, Ovi. I think Tom's in love with me," I say. Ovechkin smirks.

"And do you feel the same way?"

"I... I don't know. I think so. It's complicated right now," I reply. Ovi frowns.

"Why? Because you're only supposed to pretend to be dating him? That shouldn't matter. If you two date for real, then you won't be lying to anyone anymore." Ovechkin explains. I smile and nod.

"Thanks, Ovi. That was actually very insightful,"

"You're welcome, Kasey." Ovechkin says before skating away to join the rest of his team.

Tom's POV
"You guys are actually going out on a date?!" Oshie asks when we're changing out of our gear after practice. I nod.

"Yeah. I felt it was appropriate to take her out as a thank you for fixing my relationship with my brother," I explain. Oshie laughs.

"Are you sure that's the only reason why? Because I watched you give Kasey a kiss on the cheek during practice," He says. I can feel my cheeks growing warm at his words.

"I was just saying thank you to her," I say. Oshie shakes his head.

"Really? I think your red cheeks tell me otherwise," Oshie teases as he pinches my cheek. I jerk away from him and frown.

"You're a jerk, Osh."

"So I'm told," Oshie mutters before bending down to untie his skates.

Kasey and I go back to the hotel to change into something nice for lunch. I look at myself in the mirror and play a little with my hair, trying to make it look nice. I spray myself with some of the cologne I brought along and deem myself nice enough for a date.

I don't why I'm going the extra mile to look so nice for a date with my fake girlfriend. It seems a bit weird to me.

I go to Kasey's hotel room and knock on the door. Kasey opens the door with a big smile on her face. I smile too, admiring how beautiful she looks.

Kasey's wearing a pair of jeans and a nice sweater. She has a winter coat on over top the sweater to keep warm. I'm wearing jeans along with a polo shirt. I also have my winter coat on.

"You look amazing, Kasey." I say.

"Thanks Willy. Ready to go?" Kasey asks. I nod.

"Yeah. Let's go,"

I bring Kasey to a restaurant I used to go to a lot when I was younger. My parents used to bring my brother and I here after our hockey games for celebratory dinners.

After we are sit down at a table, Kasey and I start talking.

"So, what are you getting to drink?" Kasey asks. I shrug.

"I'm not sure. I'm probably going to have to stick with water. Soda has too much sugar and alcohol is a big no-no on a game day," I explain. Kasey nods.

"That's true," she says. She looks up at me and frowns. "Let me ask you something. Would you still say that if your athletic trainer was here?"

"Yes, actually. I take my sports career very seriously," I reply with a smirk. Kasey laughs.

"Okay,"

During lunch, I can't stop staring at Kasey. Her wavy blonde hair and her green eyes that I could get lost in is what I admire the most about her as well as her glossed, kissable lips.

Ever since I kissed her on the lips at the Rangers game, the urge to kiss her again has been almost overwhelming.

I think I might actually be in love with Kasey Norton for real.
