Chapter 2-Meeting Lucas

POV:Max
I saw Alex across from me tried to a chair like me.She wakes up and look at me and yells,"Max what did you do!"I look at her and didn't say a word.She look at me pissed but then we hear some one coming down the stairs.We both look over to see a guy standing there looking at us and then walk over with an hammer.I look at Alex who look at me and yells,"This is why your parents died because you can't do anything right!"The man walk over to her and hit the hammer on her kneecap and she screams.I start to cry because I didn't want to die and then he walk over to me and puts the hammer down and hug me???I look at him confused as he hugging me.He says,"Hello my love my name is Lucas and yours?"I look at him and said,"uh it max."Lucas untried me and pick me up and I black out as he does it.I wake up to someone lying down beside me I look over and it's Kayla!?I move Kayla so I can get up But as I was about to get off the bed I see Lucas.Lucas walk over to me and push me back to the bed.

I look at him and he said,"Why are you getting out of bed your head is not heal yet so go back to sleep love."

"Huh why is Kayla here?"

"She is here because she is my kid and yours."

"What how!?"

"Well I tell you when you are heal ok Love."

He walk out the door and close it I lay back down on the bed next to Kayla.I was thinking why did the Lucas guy want me and how is Kayla his kid. I stop thinking about it and went to bed so I wouldn't make Lucas mad that I was still awake.

-Next Day-

I wake up to Kayla right on top of me sound asleep.Lucas walk in and wake up Kayla and said,"Hey honey wake up you have to go get dressed."Kayla got up and walk out of the room to her room.Lucas look at me and said,"Hello love follow me ok so we can get you some new clothes."I got out of bed and Lucas took me to his room and gave some of the clothes he had.I put the clothes on it the bathroom.I walk out and I ask Lucas,"Hey what happened to Alex?"He look at me and didn't say a word so I ask him,"So where are we going?"

"We are going to go and get something ok love."

"So what are we going and getting and what do we need the things your for Lucas?"

"We are going to get some food, drink, and some rope to keep someone from doing anything."

"Who is the rope for?"

"It not for love so don't worry ok it's for someone else ok."

"Ok."

Lucas goes and get Kayla and we walk out to the truck and got to the store.We walk into the store and Lucas grab my hand and we went to go grab the drinks,food, and rope.We pay for the things and we back to the truck.On the way there Kayla ask,"Hey dad what are we going to do with papa Max and Alex?"

"We're not going to do anything to Max ok but we are going to use the rope on Alex."

"What are you going to do with Alex,Lucas."

"I hate to tell you but we have to keep Alex down in the basement but we have to keep the rope on her ok love."

"Ok Lucas."
