After hearing Lan Qiren comment, everyone fell silent while Lan Xichen looks at his uncle in disbelief.

Nie Mingjie feel shame and embarrassment pool inside him as he felt his brother shoulder shaking against his in silent laughter....well it's not his fault or Lan Huan fault that they got caught....Nie Mingjie know this but still the pity side of him can't help the glare to Lan Xichen 

"Well...who knows my brother and Lan gege has embarrassing secrets like this...Hanguang-Jun do you know any other secrets like this..." Nie Huaisang asked trying hard to suppress another round of laughter  .

Lan Wangji lowered his head as he felt his brother gaze on him  .....feeling pity for Lan Zhan,  Wei Wuxian tried to do the damage control .

"Okay enough....it was supposed to be a secret and I am sure everyone has secrets like this...due to this pearl, sect leader Nie and Lan secret got exposed....who knows what kind of Embarrassing things,  others had done. If you don't want me to expose it ....keep quiet . " Wei Wuxian said making Lan Xichen give him a grateful look.

"I agree with Wei Wuxian here...it's wrong to mock others for their weakness " Jin Guangyao said coming to rescue his sworn brothers.

"You know...despite all the fun , it's good to see you having good bond with Lan gege. Seems like you made yourself a friend in Gusu Wei Wuxian " Nie Huaisang commented cheerfully.

"Yeah...I saw that too. I am happy to see your bond with Xichen . Good to know Xichen find himself  another  friend" Nie Mingjie said smiling at the duo.

Wangji lips turned into curve as he heard Nie Mingjie. 

"He also seems to have good bond with Grand Master Lan qire and from what I heard, wei Wuxian is his black mark in teaching career. I wonder what brought all those changes '' Lan kai said .

(THREE MONTHS of LAN WANGJI as Chief cultivator)

The pearl started spinning in white color...showing a scenery of busy market place.

Wei Wuxian had been traveling for three months . Three months since he left Lan Zhan.

"Why did you leave me " Wangji asked panicked.  He thought that they will be together always since all the far future has Wei ying with his future self all the time but now hearing they are separated didn't sit well with him.

"May be he rejoined Jiang sect after you became cheif cultivator.  After all Wei Wuxian hates politics '' jiang cheng added making Wangji more panicked.

"Why don't we watch it...we may get some answer " Lan Xichen supplied trying to  calm his brother. 

He had thought that he needed time, after everything. The stress, the fear, the old pains made new again by the events at Guanyin temple created a weary ache deep in his bones that he hadn’t felt since those dark days in the Burial Mounds, years ago.Turning his back towards Lan Zhan for a second time was perhaps one of the hardest things he had done in this life - and maybe in his past life. He wanted nothing more than to wrap himself in warm sandalwood-scented robes and feel home. He is not spoiled kid but it also felt very nice when Lan Zhan took care of him during their demonic arm quest. He feels so unburdened , free and secured when he is around Lan Zhan.

I wonder if you miss me at all, Lan Zhan,” Wei Wuxian said reproachfully.

Lan Zhan blushes hard as he heard Wei Wuxian mind voice . Wei Wuxian buried his face in his hands and silently cursed the pearl for embarrassing him.

Hearing her A-xian feelings about the second jade of Lan , Yanli smiled softly at her brother. 

But Lan Xichen and the rest of the cultivation world had been broken by the events at Guanyin temple ... leaving no one pick up the shattered pieces other than Hanguang-jun, the Light-Bearer. Thus making his time with Lan Zhan also short.
