Joss paper is  burning at the corner of the room , the flames turning white paper into black ashes . Other than the little crackling sound,  the silence fills the room.It was only thing  that filled everything, every corner of every room. Nie Huaisang only felt  its presence . His mind still clouded over his brother  and his gruesome death despite it being one year.

He is sitting inside his brother room,  hoping to be Surrounded by  his Dage  familiar scent. The scent of metal and forest. The smell of home.

But he was no longer comforted by his brother’s smell. It was now a cold reminder of what he lost. Huaisang felt numb.

Mingjie winced internally as he hears and saw his brother broken form. Both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian eyes traveled to Nie Huaisang, understanding his turmoil.

Wide spread around him are his DeGe things , Nie Huaisang fingers stroked each of them as his mind presenting him the image of his brother with those things .

A gentle sweep of air blows inside the silent room, enough to open the books open with it's power. He took a shuddering breath when something suddenly caught his eye.

Everyone looked keenly at the orb , curious to see what catched the second Nie brother eyes.

The wind flutters inside flipping the pages of the book in front of him.

Frowning he stared as the pages fliped faster....showing music notes.

The lans sucked their breath as they recognized the notes. Lan xichen felt his soul leave his body as he saw the music notes.

Huaisang  in a breath hitched  as the notes glowed and he lifted  the page as he recognized the notes as the calming song that Jin Guangyao taught him to heal his brother ...not that it had worked, in the end.

"No ... it's not  " wangji say as he saw the full notes.
