i figured people started to call you that once they realized just how loveable you were, pretty obvious, but i was glad that finally... finally someone understood me.
it was during the heat of the summer, the sun was at its highest peak and the townspeople would rather choose to spend their days inside, we and our other five friends decided to go to our school.
of course naturally, it was summer break, the school was closed, the gate was locked. but we managed, all seven of us, to climbed over the gate an ran toward the field where there was a track for running, two goals, bleachers built into the cement also taking role as steps down to the field, other than that it was nothing but an opening. a semi-arid ground, dusts would mix with the air when we ran over it. we inhaled the dirty air but it was no problem since later, the summer wind would blow. really hard it shook our hair, it tickled our skin and it also made our clothes flail.
i was busy looking at you at that time. we were all at the center of the field. jungwon was having the best time of his life he was spinning around as the wind blew and then he plopped himself down on the ground. niki followed him. jake was... i forgot what exactly was he doing, in fact, i was oblivious to our surrounding but you. my eyes were all for you.
there you are smiling, grinning, showing your pearly white teeth and your eyes had turned to be an upside-down crescent moon, each of them. your skin glowed under the sun, there was also pinkish trace of sunburn on your cheeks, nose, and neck but i must admit, you were magnificent that when heesung threw himself at me, exclaimed that i'd be the one chasing to pass the tag, i didn't budge.
this is why people called you loverboy.
