John's POV:

Three whole months had gone by in a blur. We welcomed someone special into our lives, and named him Philip. Pip for short. I had been so smitten by how much that little boy could do, how much he impressed both me and Aaron. Everything from his first smile to his first steps, the first time he opened his eyes and the first stroller we bought. Our first nursery and the first time we could see our shared love. I don't know what happened, everything changed so quickly after him. Me and Aaron were talking again, loving again and I was so so happy, the happiest I've ever been. Philip Burr Laurens.

With the holidays coming up, I wanted to do something special, but what could it be?

I woke up and kissed Aaron on the forehead as I walked towards Pip's crib. Everything about him was perfect, and I didn't think anything could be perfect until him, I can't ever imagine making this boy mad at me, I love him so much.

"John?" Aaron spoke, turning to where the crib was but still laying down "Are you okay?", "I'm okay, I'm great actually. I love you Aaron", I responded as I saw him smile and say "I love you too".

The rest of the day went smoothly, I went out and ran some errands while Aaron and Pip rested.

We sat around the dinner table as I set a Hawaiian pizza on the table, and caught Aaron's eyes straight in my gaze. "OH IM SORRY, I FORGOT" I uttered, "Johnny, it's okay, don't worry" he responded very concerned, as he took my hand and pulled me down to sit. He gave me a soft smile while rubbing my hand and asked "Are you okay? You seem tense", and I dont think I'd noticed until then that I don't actually feel okay.
