"Wasn't the weather supposed to be good today, why is it raining so hard? I don't even have an umbrella, how will I return to my house? I don't think we have any more umbrellas in the store either. I got no option, I guess I have to run now cause I need to go home, my aunt is going to visit me soon and if she sees how messed up my studio is, she is going to get angry and will force me to move back to her house."- Jeimi said while panicking.
Um, Hey Jeimi. Do you remember me? Jake? - Jake asked confusingly.
Jeimi was shocked to see Jake as she never thought she would see him again.
Jake said smiling, "I don't think you have an umbrella and if I am not wrong, your shifts ended a while ago. I'm going to meet my friend in your apartment only, you remember him too, right?
Jeimi hesitated and said, 'No, It's okay, I don't think I'll need it as it will stop soon.'
As she said those words, the rain started to put heavily, making Jake laugh a little and Jake signalled her to come under the umbrella.
Jeimi was confused but got no other options as her aunt was on her way, so she just went under the umbrella.
Jake seems like a playboy. He is not even shy or awkward I think he has done it quite often.- Jeimi thought as she was walking awkwardly.
Jake, on the other hand, was so nervous and started a conversation by saying so, um okay what do you do other than working in a supermarket?
Jeimi replied by saying I'm a college student and learning design.
Jake was amazed and told her how much he likes those cool graphic designs and always admires people who make them cause they are works of art. As he said these words, Jeimi blushed. There was an awkward silence between them after that cause they didn't know what to say then the building elevator came and they entered and said their goodbyes to each other.
Jeimi started cleaning and suddenly it hit her that she was with an umbrella with Jake and she didn't even say thank you. She felt so stupid.
