Both besties are sitting in a very aesthetic cafe to take inspiration from it for their assignment. They ordered drinks and some snacks, and they started to talk with each other; it had been a week since that one umbrella scene, and she hasn't told Suki about it as she is scared she's going to beat her this time if she starts speaking about Jake again. She gathers some courage and tells her everything that happened that day.
Jeimi! You are so stupid. Luck? Seriously? Do you call meeting him in the rain luck? Bro, you don't even know him. You can't just go with anyone. What if he does something wrong? Hello, stranger danger! Suki shouted at Jeimi.
As she shouted, everyone started to look at them and was confused about what was happening, but Suki soon realised this and apologised to everyone for being too loud. They both got embarrassed and just decided not to talk about Jake in the cafe. After finishing everything, they went out, and Suki started talking about Jake again.
"So tell me what's going on with you and him?" Suki looked straight into her eyes and asked her in a creepy tone. To be honest, I'm worried about you because you're stupid and naive. Be careful with boy drama.
"I know you're not saying it for fun, but even I'm not sure if he just did it to help or was there a romantic thing," Jeimi responded. He seems like a playboy, but then I might be judging him in the wrong light again.
It's okay, you haven't known him for ages; you've only interacted with him three or four times, and each time for no more than five minutes. You don't have to say you are judging him; it's more like being careful as he can be dangerous and might do wrong. Suki said in a motherly tone.
Jeimi was feeling down, as this was the first time she liked someone. It was hard for her to get over the fact that this was the next step. It was more of a headache than a refreshing feeling. Suki, seeing Jeimi, devised a plan to invite Jake to Jeimi's birthday party, but to do so in public and as if it were a normal dinner, just to be on the safe side.
