━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━CHARACTERISTICS
Neri is the eldest amongst her five siblings. Neytiri found to be carrying her a month after the skypeople had fled the planet, born and brought by a new era of peace after years, in Pandora.
She is trained and skilled with the famous native weapon of her mother's tribe ; a bow and an arrow. She was taught by her father aswell on how to handle his type of weapons but if anything she most prefers a dual-bladed Spear as her to-go in battle, and the traditional Hand Blade that her grandmother trained her to use.
She's stubborn. Both a positive and negative trait on her. She often has this intimidating, stern, and stoic front when faced with responsibilities or strangers‐-especially when she has younger siblings to protect and a role to abide to.
She is a strong leader--courageous, independent, and brave. Her grandmother, Mo'at, often believes that she would be a great Olo'eyktan--if not a Tsahik. Although she has this downfall where she overthinks way too much. It's a random occurrence, sometimes it is handy because she could process a situation in an instant, but it's irritating at most when it comes to non-threatening problems. Even with her, somewhat, intimidating impression, she is sensitive to emotion--and I do not mean 'crying' and all that stereotypical feels. Her feelings are often overrun with anger, stress, fear, anxiety.
Being the eldest, she has grown into the role of being the second mother to all her siblings, ready to take responsibility over them if ever their parents would unexpectedly vanish. A burden weighs on her shoulder because of this. Being Toruk Makto's eldest, the capabilities she has shown, the expectations given to her. She fears that if ever that weight becomes too much and tips her over, she wouldn't know if she'd be able to regain herself.
Besides being closest to Mo'at, she spends most her time in carrying out her duties within her clan and helping out her mother. But when she's not occupied with anything in her scheduled plans, she rides with her ikran and explore the Hallelujah Mountains. One of her escapisms is music. She adores the melodic rhythms and pitch, finding it a beautiful aspect of harmony and tranquility ; which is why when she roams the jungles alone, she would sing her people's songs and her songchord, or make up her own lyrics with the inspiration of her surroundings.
And she favors Kiri bcs why not:)
APPEARANCE
Clearly possesses a female body, along with 4 fingers and thumb her facial features take on more of her father's ; from the shape of her face, nose, and her eyes. Her eyes though, is a mixture of her father's and mother's. How it widens often shows the representation of Neytiri's rounded eyes.
Just like any Omaticaya, her skin is an enchanting shade of blue, decorated by stripes of a darker shade. From across her face and to her legs lies many mesmerising white spots, like stars in the night sky.
One unique feature on her, are the the light shades of blue scattered all over her body. Her father, Jake, was familiar with this trait on her ; it resembled closely to the physical attribute of Vitiligo, as people called it back on earth.
Her hair straight, and black. She often has it styled in a simple bun that has beaded braids sticking out, hanging from it at the back of her head with a few strands being twisted and braided infront of her ears to frame her along with her bangs and side hair. Her braids are adorned with colorful threads and beads, with symbols meaningful to her and the Omaticaya. reference;
She possesses a dagger made of the tooth of her ikran.IDEALOGIES & BELIEFS
Neri believes in Eywa a lot like any other Na'vi. She entrusts her wellbeing in her deity, e.i. the nature surrounding her. She intends the winds to cleanse her thoughts, emotions, and soul. The land to guide her to the paths she is meant to cross. The waters to carry out the reflections of her being.--which is funny because she has a fear for deep, dark, unknowns that she had always pictured to be large unexplored lakes, or the vast ocean.
She values her family more than anything, not just because it is her duty. She would kill any person--Na'vi or not, if it meant to ensure her family's safety. Its cruel, but you can't call it selfish of her because they're all she's got. Being separated from them would be agony, that is why the thought of her finding a mate irritates her because she wouldn't know if she'd be able to balance prioritizing her family, and her spouse.
