"Holy shit!" Stevie groaned, turning to the left side of her bed. Her right leg felt like it was on fire. "Damn the heels." Stevie mumbled, turning to the right for about the 5th time. She was sure that her legs were just sore from the hellishly huge heels she wore at all of her concerts. Struggling, she peeled off her blanket and waddled (yes waddled) over to her black boots which were leaned up against the wall.
"Okay boots." She said, picking one up.
"Maybe this'll help me feel better" she said, throwing the boot as hard as she possibly could against the wall.
---------------------------------------------
Lindsey shot up. He could've sworn he heard a loud thump on the other side of his hotel room wall.
Thump.
The sound of Stevie's 2nd boot hitting the wall caused him to flinch.
"What the hell?" He mumbled, shuffling to his feet.
Making his way to the door, he stepped out into the brightly lit hallway, blindly walking to the door next to him.
He pounded on the door, causing Stevie to jump on the other end.
"Crap." She whispered. The last thing she needed was some angry dude knocking on her door at 3:00 am.
Tightening her robe around her, she fumbled for the light switch in the dark. Grasping the door handle, she pulled it open.
Lindsey wasn't prepared for who opened the door.
"Wait... Stevie?" He said, squinting through the bright lights.
"Huh? Lindsey?" She said, rubbing her eyes.
"Oh shit I must be seeing things now, this is what I get for staying up till 3:00." Stevie said, starting to shut the door. Lindsey put his hand on the door.
"No, Stevie it's actually me." He said groaning.
Stevie reached for her glasses and hastily settled them onto her face.
"Oh..." She chuckled.
"May I ask what the hell your doing." Lindsey said bluntly, not very amused.
"Um..." Stevie trailed. What was she supposed to say?! That she was just casually throwing her demon boots at the wall because she couldn't sleep and thought it would help.
"Look Lindsey, I couldn't sleep so I kinda just-"
Click.
Lindsey snapped his head towards his hotel room door.
It was shut.
"No!" He groaned. He'd forgotten his room card inside! And now he couldn't go downstairs and ask for a replacement, on account of it being 3 in the morning.
"Uh.... Stevie?" Lindsey said.
"What." She moaned, finally getting sleepy.
"Can I sleep with you tonight?" He said, grinning sheepishly.
